For overall quality of library it would hands down be the Saturn. N64 has really high highs, but a bunch of dog shit too. The PS1 just wins out by the library being incredibly expansive and having good enough games in genres that were just being invented.

Assuming each person only ever rides once and not multiple times.
The plane is more likely to crash the more trips, but I'd think we have to account for the population when the crash occurs, so we need to look at the growth of the population.

The total number of passengers at any given time is equal to the sum of all previous passengers plus 1.
So when the plan goes down just over 50% of total passengers will be harmed, except in the case of first flight crash, then it would be 100%.

I don't know that it would be 99%, but I think it would be more than 50 and I don't have the math skills to pull it off for this one. But due to the growth of population, the more flights taken the more likely you are to be on it and the more likely it is to crash.

Like what is going on in Indiana?

I'm guessing had it been reported she died, then someone deemed undesirable by the IRP would have won. They kept the reporting down so they can pick a winner in private that will not be whomever would have won.

For $30 you can get a coaxial trace kit. You'll put a plug in both of the rooms you want to find and then go wire by wire in the image you posted testing them until you find one connected to it. Label that wire and then find the other. Then spend $2-5 on a male to male connector, you might be able to re-purpose one of the splitters, just make sure one is on input and the other on output.

You are in bad luck if you don't find a wire that matches both. This is not uncommon in homes that have undergone cable/satellite transitions and back and forth. I have coax wall outlets in my house that do not connect back to the cable source and it is infuriating.

People are really over-valuing the knowledge here. Scientific knowledge is important, but mostly useless without the skills for application of knowledge.

Compare it like this, I could go to youtube and watch hundreds of hours about rebuilding a car engine. That would make incredibly knowledgeable on how to rebuild a care engine. If I only knew it but had never done it, how good would I actually be at doing it.

Knowing everything won't necessarily make you great at using that knowledge to make the next scientific connection to the unknown. In fact you probably won't, because if you had that skill you would already be doing it.

Also, knowledge won't really help you get the perfect body. There is no scientific "right" way to get there, you'll be presented with a bunch of trial and error to find out what works for you the same as if you Googled it. And yet again that's the easy part, the application part is why people don't have perfect bodies.

Yeah, the phrase represents the supposition that when facing mortality people become religious.
There is of course nothing to back this up ( but you will find numerous false accounts of such and such famous atheist that found god on their death bed).

Even when it does happen I don't think you could actually call it finding religion as it is based on a transactional relationship or hedging bets and the whole point of religion is faith without guarantee.

A lot of people are saying things in this topic that have zero to do with Net Neutrality and I don't know why that is.

All Net Neutrality means is that ISP's are not allowed to engage in blocking, throttling, or paid prioritization of traffic.

A good analogy is that an ISP is like the Post Office in this case. All your internet traffic is bundled into packets that are all the same size like a standard letter.and the ISP is responsible for delivering these messages back and forth between people.
Blocking would mean that I can send mail, but if I send mail to Phil they just throw it in the trash, blocking it.
Throttling would be where if I send mail to Phil they put it aside in a box and don't continue trying to deliver it until tomorrow.
Paid prioritization, is actually a thing the Post Office does (next day air, priority mail, etc), but the key difference is that those services have no impact on the regular post mail.

Paid prioritization is the most tricky, and also hard to directly relate to the Post Office because the ISP fear is that they combine throttling with prioritization to squeeze consumers. The Post Office is not going to be able to slow down the regular post in order to drive sales of priority.
For an ISP it is as simple as them deciding Phil get too much mail, if you want to mail Phil you need to pay us extra or it will take a long time to get there.

To be fair, small arms won't work against the government if they have the full backing of the military. If the military is lock step with 2025 then settle in for the long haul because even if every armed civilian left and right wanted to stand against them they would fall. Best case for actual revolution is if the military splits in a close to equal factions.Even that is more likely to lead to regional factions and never a reformation of the US as a whole.

A hung jury leading to a mistrial does not lead to double jeopardy because that result brings the trial to a standstill with no resolution. Double Jeopardy applies when there's a final resolution to the case. Their actual angle from that point would be to go after the judge or the prosecutor for procedural violations.

As it stands today, but you didn't read my whole post, but now I have time to source it so hopefully you can understand it better.

The foundation for retrial is from 1824, US vs Perez, which ruled based not on the Constitution but rather English Common Law that jeopardy does not attach until the verdict is rendered.

However, in Downum v US (1963), Crist v Bretz (1978), and Martinez v Illinois (2014), the Supreme Court has consistently held that the federal rule for trial by jury is that jeopardy attaches when a trial jury is sworn.

Should any of Donald's jury trials end in a mistrial or hung jury you can guarantee that he will take any attempts to re-try him to the SC and there is a very good chance he wins given which way they lean.

No, it's not. Mistrials can be tried again. For one or both side(s) that can be detrimental to their case just as much as it could help them.

Well, maybe can be retried, it is about as settled as Roe v Wade was. The basing for hung juries and mistrials to be retried was on a ruling that decided that jeopardy is not attached until the verdict is decided. But more recent than that the Supreme Court has ruled jeopardy attaching when the jury is seated.

So should there be a hung jury or mistrial, fully expect a case before the SC on DJT claiming double jeopardy.

I'm still curious as to why his tax valuation is low but his credit valuation is high.

You pay taxes on what something is worth, not what you say it's worth. You can't tell the state or city that your home is worth $10,000 and expected to get taxed on that then turn around and leverage it as worth tens of millions. That's not how property taxes work.

If MAL is worth 18 billion, then his property tax in WPB should be astronomical, not lower than what I pay for a 1800 square foot house.

You don't tell the State what your property is worth for purposes of property tax, they tell you, and then you can argue with them if you think the assessor was too high. Trump's numbers though are business valuations, so the value of the property plus whatever income it can generate. So the State likely values all of his properties much lower than what he is using in his business valuations ( in of itself not unusual, local assessors generally undervalue properties against what it would really get on the market) and he has an outlandish sense of self worth and penchant for outright lying that drive his figure for income generated to astronomical proportions.

Those other business owners hand-wringing about they could be next is because it is pretty much standard to lie on all these things because they are derived from assessments and not facts, but Trump took it to a whole new level of bullshit. Hopefully not all of them are as crooked as him, but well...

You can't really, but their reasoning will be that it is an election purely within the state. The problem with that of course is that a presidential election is also entirely within a state, there exists no such thing as a federal ballot.

No it's not "possibly illegal" it's 100% illegal. It violates the Civil Rights Act of 1964, among other things I'm sure.

"Under the laws enforced by EEOC, it is illegal to discriminate against someone (applicant or employee) because of that person's race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information. It is also illegal to retaliate against a person because he or she complained about discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation or lawsuit.

The law forbids discrimination in every aspect of employment.

The laws enforced by EEOC prohibit an employer or other covered entity from using neutral employment policies and practices that have a disproportionately negative effect on applicants or employees of a particular race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), or national origin, or on an individual with a disability or class of individuals with disabilities, if the polices or practices at issue are not job-related and necessary to the operation of the business. The laws enforced by EEOC also prohibit an employer from using neutral employment policies and practices that have a disproportionately negative impact on applicants or employees age 40 or older, if the policies or practices at issue are not based on a reasonable factor other than age."

https://www.eeoc.gov/prohibited-employment-policiespractices

And if you would have just spent a little more time looking since I had, you know, specific numbers in my post you would have found:
https://www.eeoc.gov/employers/coverage-businessprivate-employers

If a complaint against a business (or some other private employer) involves race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, disability or genetic information, the business is covered by the laws we enforce if it has 15 or more employees who worked for the employer for at least twenty calendar weeks (in this year or last).
