realnifty1 07/22/18 9:40:41 PM #8 | I think True Crime: Streets of LA is still the most accurate map of LA. |

realnifty1 07/13/18 9:50:53 PM #12 | I continue to have a soft spot for Brisco County Jr, but really they are all pretty much awesome. |

Both systems favor a privileged minority while the majority gets to suck on their thumbs. America is not truly a Democracy. Especially in terms of presidential election we are a republic in that you are voting for a delegate to vote for president, but in most places that delegate is not required to vote the way they pledged prior to you voting for them. So the presidential election is not Democratic at all. |

All adults are presumed to be fully accountable and able to pursue their own desires. Any person at any time is allowed to put conditions on continued interactions with another person, it is only when those conditions come with a caveat of harm for failure to comply that it is manipulative. Good: I can't stay in this relationship if we don't X. Bad: If we don't X then I'm going to tell your family about that time you Y'd. |

Businesses usually have a sign that says "we have the right to refuse services to anyone" You have the right to refuse service individually, but any attempts to apply that across a class, protected or not, almost always will, and generally should, be rebuked. |

realnifty1 06/04/18 12:13:55 PM #94 | Ruling basically amounts to letting the guy get out from under all the fines, but that is it. It felt more like a pity decision. "OK snowflake, we know they hurt your feelings, so we will negate your fines. You still have to go back and place nice with people different than you though." |

realnifty1 05/31/18 7:21:30 PM #3 | If you just got it you really shouldn't wash it much at all, and even then you need to dry completely and moisturize it. Your artist really should have went over all this with you. |

Because claiming a big majority in the Senate is an oft repeated, easily dis-proven, and yet still believed by many falsehood when they only had a caucus of 60 for four months and that means they had to appease even the most moderate Democrat to get anything through. |

Topic | Why do millennials want to live in cities so much? |
realnifty1 04/28/18 2:38:49 PM #74 | This topic is just everyone arguing about what they prefer instead of answering the actual topic. I'll spoil life for you and tell you though. Millennials are still in their 20's and early 30's, affluent people in that age range have always predominantly flocked to large cities. There are more diverse opportunities and more nightlife. People would generally migrate to the suburbs once married, but the increasing average age for marriage is why Millennials seem to be more city oriented. |

realnifty1 04/18/18 5:21:08 PM #37 | People who have a job where advancement is based almost solely on their ability to convince others that they have the correct solution to a problem they actually know almost nothing about have that bleed over into their everyday lives?? My oh my, and what is this over here? Water? And by god it's wet! |

realnifty1 04/07/18 9:03:27 AM #8 | The games got hard enough to require drugs to win. So winners do in fact need to use drugs. |

Topic | Liberals: Do you believe Trump will be impeached for any wrong doing? |
realnifty1 03/21/18 9:26:15 PM #39 | If the Dems take control of the House I'd say that it is likely we get Articles of Impeachment. For him to actually get impeached there would need to be a smoking gun to turn enough Reps in the Senate. |
