Or is it the idea that they're there to stop the supposed "middle of the night ballot stuffing" they think was happening in 2020?

That is what they think, or at least what they are saying they think, notice the use of the term mule. They purport to believe that carriers of a mass amount of fraudulent votes are making drops in the dead of night and they are there to ward them off. I could point of at least half a dozen clear flaws with their logic, but it is hard to say if they even care about that or if they really just know that it is voter intimidation and are saying that.

As to the illegality, it depends. Most of the law specifics are tied to polling places, a reasonable judge would easily expand this to mean drop-off boxes as well, but even then there are distance requirements. So they could potentially be setup across the street or just down the road to evade those restrictions, but still be able to intimidate through it being the middle of the night and a large group just across the way might freak you out.

Nah really I guess Im used to going to Asian restaurants with vegan options that has tempura lol. I really didnt know it was used for meat and diary too.

You better double check that next time you go. Unless they have both a vegan and regular, tempura batter is just flour and eggs. And the vegan version of it is decidedly not what the average person would find acceptable if the ordered vegetable tempura.

I meant the refusal to pay a consulting group/contractor because you say it's "against the best interests of shareholders"

Kind of gray, will be interesting to see it play out in court honestly. The argument is that they commissioned the BCG to form a plan for them to improve the company and that BCG provide them with a plan that wasn't feasible ( bad for shareholders is a violation of the company's fiduciary duty ).

Now can GameStop prove in court that BCG gave them a bad plan, I don't know. But if you hired an architect to design you a house and they gave you plans for a moon base you might feel you shouldn't pay them.

They are literally in everything including the air you breathe. Hopefully, we can get a handle on the concentration and it ends up as nothing more than just another particulate that passes through your body.

But I'm not talking about all music tho. Coldplay is a band that, for some reason, was held in extremely high regard in the post-OK Computer world. They were even on the first iteration of RS 500 albums of all time (at like 350ish I think?) which is just way too high for a soppy album about i wuv woo

I knows there's tons of music about that but early Coldplay probably outdoes the music about women : music about other stuff ratio by a large margin. Especially for it to be so... sentimental

I wouldn't exactly say they were held in high regard, they were just the most popular band in the world for a while and some people confuse the two. Snow Patrol was better within that style in almost every way, except for The Scientist which is probably the one great thing Chris Martin wrote. And not every one writes a great song, so he has that at least.

It was written by one of the people that wrote a lot of The Wire and shared the Producer as well, which is why it feels almost like a successor. I'm all for letting those guys create another show if they have an idea, but I wouldn't want either of the previous continued or rebooted.

Right, as my question was rhetorical. People are living on less than 100k a year in Boston. It may not be the most comfortable, but they're doing it. And I also know people in Boston paying 1500 or less for places near the T which would be 18,000 for the year. Using that one third number, that means their salary could be 54,000 and it would theoretically still be reasonable for them.

Oh jeez, you mean when we talk averages there are some things below the average? No shit sherlock, of course there are people with cheaper rent that live on less 50k in Boston. I guarantee it sucks and they are constantly worrying about one thing going wrong and completely screwing things up. The simple fact is, you are not living comfortably in Boston until about 80k.

So then how do 50%+ of the population live below that limit?

Rental units and houses are insane in those markets, but I do think you disregard that some people are grandfathered into certain rents or may own homes from when they were cheaper.

Or people are just paying way more than 30% of their income on housing and still struggling with the rest.

Household income, very few people live alone here and most will have roommates. In certain parts of the city for the young making the least money it is common to have people co-living where the landlord only rents out bedrooms for about 1k a month and you share a common space with 3 to 5 other people. People find a a way, it is just that on a 51k salary your options become very limited and you almost certainly are not doing anything to prepare for your future with that amount.

I also find it hilarious that people are saying you're poor or not well off if you're only making 100k in a major coastal city. I looked up Boston since Massachusetts is listed as the second highest in median income in the US. The median income in Boston is just 51k. People who think you need 100k to barely survive in a city are living in a bubble.

Anyone in Boston trying to survive with a household income of 51k is barely scraping by(Single apartments start about 2k and 2 bedrooms start pushing 3k). At a household income of about 80k you can probably live in an ok place and not be living absolutely paycheck to paycheck. At 100k you will be able to stop worrying about day to day expenses, but you still won't be able to create much savings without living explicitly frugal.

So the answer is depends.

In general, you are supposed to separate production data from development data if there is any sort of PII involved. So in well run companies people would only be able to access a lot of that data if there was a legitimate business purpose for them to be in there.

In practice Software companies are trash and devs typically could access anything they wanted to, but have the hovering specter of getting fired if they are caught misusing it.

is there some divine gas overlord who sends an email out at 1am saying "your prices will all be this tomorrow" at which point they update the signage overnight usually when nobody is around?

Mostly, at least for the chains. Store managers usually need to submit a price survey 2 or 3 times a day for a couple of competitive locations around. I'm guessing they have some analysis program or people crunching them and they can call back to a location at any time and tell them to change the prices.

It's a little weird overall because it is pretty much never about the cost of the fuel that is in the ground, but based around the cost of the next fuel they will need to buy.
