Looks is one possibility but the main thing in my experience is The Spark. Basically if you can talk with someone constantly for 2 hours and never run out of things to talk about and after you go home there are still tons of things you wanted to talk about that you didn't get the chance to. It's the difference between them being socially addictive vs socially tiring.

I almost never feel that but when I do, it's pretty strong. You can tell very instantly.

But also I've been able to talk well with a girl who I just was not attracted to at all. But that only happened once.

CoD had a different approach though - they spend MASSIVE resources on huge single player campaigns for each game because so many of their customers never played online. Community management was still a cost, but they minimized its factor on the overall cost of the game. Games like LoL and OW can't do that though.

It's not important, it's the overhead of running an online games company, like payroll or server costs. The resources aren't freed up if you ignore it, they cease to exist. You're literally arguing for them to dissolve the entire company instead of adding a reporting system.

also sorry to disappoint you but I am not rich nor have I ever been rich. I lived below the poverty line for my entire childhood and some portion of my adult life. I had to work very hard just to end up where I am now, and I'm not even anywhere near well off. if you have some perception of me as being rich not only do I have no idea where you'd get that impression, but you really almost could not be further from the truth.

I'm just saying being ugly doesn't preclude you from being rich and getting most of the benefits anyways
