That's basically what I did, but I also killed some other random bosses like the dog guard, and I did end up killing Papyrus too. I did kill a bunch of regular enemies too before I really figured out the sparing system.

People who say it's so totally obvious that you never need to kill anyone are way too blinded by their spoilers. If you really went into the game without knowing the tagline and the hype about pacifist/genocide, then it's not obvious at all. And it really does add a lot to the game when you don't know what you're missing by killing. I missed all the Papyrus date stuff for example. It was pretty mind blowing going through the second time.

It took me 18 hours total and has some of the most challenging things that I've done in any game.

It's really up to you. The game gives you absolutely everything that you attempt to take from it. This is why people say Genocide is a must, but also that it's not for everyone.

Oh yeah and watching gets you maybe 20% of the Genocide experience at most. It's a good 20% but still.

Very recently (after BLM) the Democrats have started becoming genuinely anti-racist with a few anti-establishment people. Sure, but I'm rejecting both the fact that the moral degradation started in 2016 (or even 2001 if you want to be Bush focused), AND the notion that the US has led or driven this movement.

Bolsonaro is a good example. Now that Trump is around people put a spotlight on him and pretend nationalism there burst from a volcano in the last 2 years. But I've been watching my family there talk about fascism there for 20+ years. The US is very much a follower in this movement.

Now, if you were arguing that US free market capitalism could have prevented these things, I would agree... If the US still represented that abd didn't super fall behind Scandinavia etc on that.

Snakebird is somehow even more frustrating than SSR but they are both on a similar level. 5 levels in you just hit wall after wall. SSR has some absolutely genius levels though that feel nice to figure out. But each one takes like an hour.

Baba has much more gradually rewarding levels until the end where it's like SSR so it's best of both worlds.

The entire point of impeachment is that it can only used on very specific high crimes that damage the office of the presidency. It has nothing to do with judgment of a president. Causing a great depression is not impeachable. Rallying for nazis to shoot up journalists in not impeachable. Assassinating American citizens by executive order is not impeachable. But despite how stupid it sounds, lying under oath about a blowjob IS 1000% unambiguously by definition grounds for impeachment.

You might think that secretly trading US foreign aid in exchange for personal political favors is as harmless as lying about a blowjob, but it still is unambiguously an abuse of the office of the presidency. That's it. If the house ignores it, like they did all the other impeachable offenses, then they are failing their most basic job.

So you're right that it's bullshit that this is the first issue the house actually moved to impeach on. It should have been way, way earlier. But that doesn't change that this issue needed to be impeached.
