Well they all use your head as a first person view into the world, but it is not necessarily first person to the thing you are controlling. There are lots of third person games where you are a camera floating above your character and you can look around and stuff.

There is no suffering since all VR hardware is selling way above expectation making profit (except maybe Oculus but lol facebook) and software is selling as well (it's hard, but wayyy easier than a PC/console game).

The main thing damaging VR and holding us back is "hardcore gamers" who see absolutely mindblowing and amazing unique games like Tiltbrush and Superhot for VR and are like "ugh I don't want these toys and 2 hour demos, I want SKYRIM and DOTA 2 on VR".

Those people will never get into VR and they will get left behind by the industry just like the "hardcore gamers" who only like SNES RPGs and such. But they are a very large voice now that is hurting a lot. Fortunately indies and AAAs mostly don't listen to those people, but there is still cheap shovelware trying to appeal to that.

I think the movie is way better if you know the source material. The people who are watching this from scratch are going to be completely confused and turned off in every way probably. But maybe it might pique their interest in the anime?

Anyways I think it's very clear that L kills Light at the end. L was about to shoot him in the face earlier anyways.

Also the hospital scene mirrors Soichiro's death scene in the original story except with roles flipped, and I think there is enough evidence in the movie that they are knowledgeable of the original events and deliberately use pieces of it in this movie.

Non-enthusiast hype is kinda gone now. Enthusiast hype is very much still there. It still feels like a gold rush for developers and I am personally increasingly anxious the longer I wait to make a VR game. Nothing is set in stone yet design wise. Especially movement techniques, which is very exciting.

Mainstream accessibility WILL come, it's just taking a while. Momentum in sales and development is still above expectations so no worries there.

Also, non-enthusiasts still absolutely flip their shit any time they see a VR setup at an expo or festival or whatever. Kinda funny since it's so easily attainable now.

He was originally impressive because he was able to navigate this super complex system of politics far better and more deeply than anyone, with only Varys really competing. He touched north south eat AND west.

But now there's only like 3 elements in the show, and he can't even deal with 1 of them competently. It was not bad luck or anything that got him. He just became shit.

That would be cool. In the 30 minute gameplay they talk about how they added Krillin as a weaker character but who has a ton of utility and technical stuff (healing) that can complement the team. That plus the mid-combo character switching could really make weak/support characters super viable.

I think my least favorite thing about this season is how they tried to make it all dramatic and serious again. S6 was amazing because every scene had sitcom style comedic timing, but that was largely lost here. Some things were good like the awkward meetings, but that's really it.
