Since February while there were just single digit COVID cases in the US, my job told everyone to not take vacation, but theyll remove the maximum cap for everyone during COVID period.

Well, today were green. When this pay period ends, anyone with more than the cap will lose their vacation days and also five additional days so employees are below cap (at least theyll be paid for them).

Delivering to six places in an hour is a lot. Thats a place every ten minutes, and the last place would be waiting an hour for their pizza after it was ready unless the delivery driver picks it back up from the store, which then makes it 7 places in an hour. Then you need time to park, meet the person, them to get their payment, and anything else.

Every once in a while. They usually sucked. I do still like all you can eat sushi.

Tiny homes look awesome, Id really like to get like a $30,000 kit and build my own one day.

But also I love living in a community, and I dont know Im of any tiny home communities. Even neighborhoods arent really a community. In apartments Ive always known a lot of people in my buildings and get to hang out with them at the pool and rooftop and stuff.

My friends are big collectors. CDs, art, video games, alcohol (one friend collects alcohol but doesnt drink it), movies, books.

I used to have these collections In HS and undergrad. Now Im more on the minimal side. I have some board games...even like 15 board games can be a huge collection when theyre $100-600 games.

Even practical crap, I try renting. Otherwise I go digital. I try to also not have a lot of specialized devices and more generalized devices.

Actually Ive experienced an inverse in job quality and pay.

My favorite job was $10 an hour for about 15k annual. My other favorite job was 12.5k annual at around $30-40/hour.

dont need to on windows machines because they're generally formatted with NTFS

macs generally use HFS which requires properly ejecting because the HFS format basically doesnt unmount for you

Actually I have noticed more corrupted files when pulling out on macs than on windows. Guess this is why, probably what Ill change to.

Irs been 152k for a few months. Maybe total compensation you remember, which is higher.

Going back for a PhD and making 130k is a huge difference between going back and making 30k. My salary isnt even that high and I talked about it just as much when I made 30k/50k as I do at 150k. people point it out more than I do.

Im amazed by how much a 10-15 year generational gap influences a core personality feature. I guess I see a big difference looking at the young vs old. Some days I wonder how much free will I really have, versus personality being formed by things like age.

My BMI jumps back and forth 19-23, and Im tall so this value is a bit overestimated. When its high I have one if I slouch but not when I stand straight.

Maybe Im just used to living in LCOL/MCOL areas (outskirts of salt lake city, center Oklahoma City, outskirts of Philadelphia) mixed with not looking for a while. Million dollar homes are gated mini-mansions...but I guess towards center city theyre closer to normal sized homes. A 20 minute drive makes a huge difference. Even if buying a home in any of those areas Id look around the $200,000 range...maybe Id look for a condo.

I guess collections could ramp up the value if theres rare pieces also. And most people here probably spend their money on items. I have a board game, video game, book, and comic collection and I consider all to be large, but realistically they add up to under 10k if you just grabbed a used copy, a bit more maybe with eBay copies considering some being hard to replace.

I spend apartment cost + 5-10k and feel I participate in luxurious activities and am not limited in what I do, but that also might be because Im just 28. I dont really see much Id want to spend the money on that Id really want and not feel guilty about. And the stuff I would spend it on wouldnt be a physical object as much as services or experiences. Even with a $1,000,000 budget to spend to on things I want (not used for VTSAX for early retirement) Id have difficulties spending that much other than buying a penthouse, but Id probably rather just rent an apartment still.

Id destroy all my possessions for under $50,000. They dont add up to that. Unless we include stocks and all that, then it would have to be more. The digital thing was unclear.

Geez MTG is still expensive looking at the current meta decks the cost are anywhere from 400(not many) all the way up to 1500 where the average seems to be about a grand.

Pokemon decks are about ~200 and it's cheaper to go to the next deck as you already have a lot of the staple trainers.
