I played two different demos for it, one at PAX and one during the live beta, and both of them suffered from issues. The 3v3 format simply wasn't fun, the controls were horrible, massive lag and long wait times for matches, and all the good stuff from the previous Dissidia games had either been gutted or made worse. I wanted the game to be good, but it simply wasn't. 3 on 3 is just simply way too chaotic and makes the HUD so sloppy no matter which one you choose. I hope they either redo the combat, otherwise we'll probably be waiting another half decade plus for a good Dissidia Personally, I liked the chaos of 3v3, but I've never played the other Dissidia games. The HUD was too crowded though.

_Rinku_ 12/28/18 3:46:21 PM #20	Dissidia Final Fantasy NT The gameplay and visuals are great, but it's a 3v3 online arena fighter that lets you pair up with brain-dead bots against human players in ranked matches. I also have a high-speed and wired connection, but still experienced significant lag online. If the netcode had been better, I would have loved this game, but as it is, I put it down like a month after release and haven't touched it since.

There's no rhyme or reason to it, like the litter box being dirty or too low. Cats are just jerks sometimes. Or they have some underlying issue they can't communicate to us.

Watching RAW tonight, specifically the promos showing people pointing to the Wrestlemania sign, is bittersweet. It's actually to the point where I see a lot of things and it makes me sad because of how it relates back the Best Friends. I've been a fan of Kingdom Hearts since I was a little kid, but watching the new trailer today just made me think about how excited I was for Matt and Woolie's LP of the first game (and how it ended in an extremely frustrating and unfulfilling way).

He knew exactly what he was doing and only backpedaled when his own fan base turned on him for it, which any idiot should have been able to see coming since his fan base is 99% SBFP fans who are obviously sad at the news. It's pretty disappointing behavior from Liam. He was never my favorite member of the group, but I liked his solo content pretty well. I've been rewatching his playthrough of the Kingdom Hearts games lately, but it feels almost too sad now...

One can speculate all day, but the facts stand that as early as this Monday on the podcast they were planning for longer term stuff on the channel (prepping for new LPs, prepping new merchandise). On Friday, they abruptly announced that they weren't posting their Smash Ultimate video due to "urgent circumstances", and this morning, that video appeared. "Something happened" seems an understatement. I hate to go all conspiracy-theorist here, but, yeah. Clearly, there was a lot of fatigue and disinterest coming from Matt since he came back from his break last year, but this was sudden. Something must have come to a head. That said, I don't think I want to know what happened, and I don't want to see the fandom get whipped into a frenzied war over it. I used to like Game Grumps and all of that drama (among other things) ruined even rewatches of their videos I liked. I'd hate to see that happen to the SBFP; their work has gotten me through some really dark times.
