Archie is just so relaxed that you can do almost anything (except hold him like a baby). He just kinda rolls with it.

...Mereoleona is a bit more difficult. The bee costume has two straps: one across the chest and the other across the belly. She hates the belly strap and will bite when it's being put on and taken off. Shirts, she's also kinda fussy when you go to put her arms through the holes. She gets treats though.

I never really enjoyed Home Improvement. It was the kind of show I wouldn't complain if someone was watching it, but I never stopped on it while flipping through the channels.

I actively enjoyed watching Boy Meets World. I initially saw it in re-runs on Disney Channel and ABC Family, but I still liked it quite a bit as a kid (you gotta keep in mind that by the time its season finale aired, I was in third grade).

I got really into watching it in college; it would run in two or three hour blocks early in the morning while I got ready for class. I still vividly remember watching it while studying for my cellular pathways test. Do I remember any of those pathways now? Of course not. But there was something comforting about the routine of watching it while I ate my breakfast every morning.

So this argument is pretty dumb
My "argument" is that being gleeful about the death of anti-vaxxers often also includes the suffering of innocents, but go off I guess...

I don't want anyone to die.

However anti-vaxxers and their ilk are beyond my sympathy. They made their choices.
So, the only real issue here is that, often times, it's not just the anti-vaxxers themselves who suffer for their idiocy.

Their children suffer. Their parents (maybe their immunocompromised, or maybe the anti-vaxxer now has power of attorney over them) suffer.

Also, I would be willing to bet that a non-trivial percentage of people haven't been able to get vaccinated because they can't potentially miss work due to the side effects. I was fine after I got both of mine, but one of my friends was completely wiped out for a few days.

How do you get this far in life completely lacking empathy for others?

I never want to have children. I genuinely think that a lot of people who do have them shouldn't. But even I know that only a total asshole says shit like, "Stay home with your kid, lady," because it's revoltingly sexist AND it's bad for society as a whole.

Do you know what happens to society when it becomes so prohibitively expensive and socially hostile to have a child? People stop having children! Then you end up with an upside down triangle population. Just look at Japan and their looming population crisis with a massive elderly population that cannot be supported by the relatively tiny youth/young adult population.

Also, just... have some empathy? Can you imagine how difficult it is to try to care for an infant, nurse, and work? Can you even begin to conceive of how PHYSICALLY DRAINING that is? For your body to literally provide nourishment to another?

Do you have any idea how expensive formula is? Like genuinely. Tell me how much you think one can is and how long you think it lasts.

Was Archie always that antisocial?
Honestly, yeah. He was never cuddly with my old cat Tuffy and would try to fight him. It was embarrassing, but Tuffy (geriatric and declawed) would beat him up about half the time. He did start to snuggle with Tuffy when he was... well, near the end of his life. He got very sick at the end and only then did Archie even come close to snuggling with him.

He's always hated other cats. He loses his shit when he sees other cats through the window. I tried to bring my neighbor's cat in (he had gotten out) and Archie started hissing at him. My friends brought a maybe six week old kitten over and Archie spent the entire hour it was here hissing at it or trying to sneak up and slap it. He's extremely sweet to people, but he just loathes other animals.

Anyway, I went to an urgent care twice trying to get it dealt with because I basically couldn't use that hand. The second time, they lanced and expressed it which HURT like hell. You'd think, "It's just someone squeezing your finger, it can't hurt that bad," but it does. Holy shit it does.

That was six years ago and I still freak out whenever one of my fingertips gets a little tender or red. The cuticle on that finger actually detached on the swollen side and now it's lopsided.

Does she like the paw covering? Have you planned for other vet visit for further exam?
I actually had to take the paw covers off because they were too small. There was a size chart on the back and, according to it, she should have been able to wear an even smaller size, so I don't know what's up with that. I'm still looking for socks for her. The pet store has some "walking boots" that I could get her, but I'm worried they'd be too big.

It sounds horrible, but I feel just... uneasy about taking her to the vet. My usual one just kept giving me borderline useless advice on keeping her paws clean and didn't even notice the spots on her chest last time (and then charged me hundreds of dollars). Mereoleona is also very reactive and I worry that she'll bite a new vet. She's bitten me multiple times while I clean her up. Poor girl has it rough, but I'm gonna keep taking care of her.

She seems happy though. She purrs. She meows when I'm carrying her food to her designated spot. She likes to sit next to me on the couch. She even got super snuggly the other day.
