I think monster hunter does a pretty good job of BTB dungeons and dragons style fantasy where you get a party of some adventurers and go kill various monsters and occasionally a giant boss or two just for loot and no real other reason. The art is a little wacky but that's online RPGs for you. Kingdoms of Amalur did a pretty great job of presenting us with more of a classical fairy tale style with their art and the Summer / Winter houses. Like a mix between Celtic / Germanic folk lore and Grimm Fairy Tales.
