I kinda get the feeling I'm late to the party and not welcome. Kinda weird. This forum is like a relic of the past. Can't edit posts, can't seem to multi quote, can't visit certain boards. It really is a major example of how god damn hard it is to enter the video game industry.

Fun fact it was the Bethesda purchase Microsoft did that ultimately scared Google away the most. They saw the kind of money Microsoft was spending and Google thought "Oh man what the fuck are we doing here?" so ultimately that purchase has already paid for itself. Microsoft is fine having Sony and Nintendo being their competition in the console gaming space. They want to be the big tech conglomerate that has the space mostly to itself.

Microsoft has someone who is strongly advocating to the CEO to spend that money. Google has nothing but business as usual. Google could have easily outspent Microsoft but no one was willing to plead the case for it.

It was a real shock for me because I'd just finished playing uncharted 4 and it has the PS1 version embedded in it and then I played the remake and I was like "ok no this definitely isn't supposed to be like this"

Which version is the best, they got 2 on there.

There's a few mods that don't work with one or the other, so base your decision on that.

I'm pretty sure most new mods are only being made in AE. I don't think SE has much active development anymore.

Depends where you live. I live near a Google data center and you pretty much couldn't even tell the game was from the cloud.

They had a subscription but it worked more like PS+ where you claimed games.

The Netflix of Games is Xbox GPU + xCloud.
