Private gambling is illegal in a lot of states as well just fyi. I think there's also some places where public gambling like horse racing is legal but private poker games aren't.

Belgium also declared video game loot boxes to be gambling.

I'm not exactly sure that's what happens. They go to "someone's" PC but I always imagine that someone is caring for them.

In legends they don't even have a PC it's straight up pastures and I don't see why that can't be a useful metric going forward. As for "but how do you get them from anywhere" legends already solved for that with Abra.

They bring it up again in Legends and just kinda shrug it off. They should really just stop questioning the ethics of pokeballs if they aren't gonna emphatically and convincingly justify them.

They should run a bit about how Pokemon can actually just up and leave the pokeballs any time they want to but choose not to because they actually like the trainers.

And canonize the game systems in reality. Pokemon like to be made to fight each other because that's how they get stronger and evolve.

I don't think it completely counters the morality issues of pokeballs but it makes things more interesting.

Maybe if you're hourly. For those of us who are salary, we're lucky if we get OT approved for that kinda stuff.

Non-american countries can sometimes have not shitty labor laws that lets salaried employees get bonus pay.

As for my company they do offer compensation if you have to work a lot after hours. Usually don't do anything if you only work a few hours on the weekend or anything. If I have to crunch for a deployment they usually give us extra PTO or extra cash bonus.

US isn't enough. Need to get Canada and all of central & South America in it as well.

It was true at least for some contexts because they had a big problem with people trying to resurrect the Nazi party. The original version of Wolfenstein 3D had to remove all the swastikas for the German localization
