they completely forgot he existed after that scene.

no one brought him up, no one asked about him, he made no appearance.

it was like he didn't even exist in the first place. there was no resolution to him, not even just a scene of him leaving or flying off somewhere.

they didn't even put him in the after credits scenes which seems like an obvious thing to do

The first few episodes were the best parts.

The mix of comedy and suspense was great. Honestly the end of this episode drove that home even harder.

Hard disagree. But then again I hate humor that's member berries so maybe its just lost on me I guess. I think this would have been much better served in a set of scenes at the beginning of a movie establishing Wanda's refusal to acknowledge what happened and what not. The whole thing would have been better served as a movie really. It dwelled far too long on things we already understood or were really obvious and even then that was only a few minutes of the entire episode(s). There were only a few minutes of actual story development before the 4th episode or so. Honestly after the first two episodes I didn't want to keep watching at all because I thought the whole thing was just gonna be this dumb series of boring callbacks to different eras but goofy cause magic. I only became more interested when they actually started to develop the world outside the insular hex.

I just watched the series up until now. The first few episodes are basically garbage. helly is right that this show is absolutely intended to be binge watched or at the very least would be better served in a movie format considering 80% of it is just filler. I hate the girl from the thor movies and she needs to be in less things. And the show is definitely better with xmen quicksilver.

The best and worst part about it is being able to randomly take naps during the day. Now when I have free time while workingm I can just take a nap. It's completely fucked up my sleep schedule and I can't help but go back even when I've fixed it.

I had no idea there was a new one. It's funny watching the degeneration of those movies. The first one was played like a pretty straight horror movie. Slightly goofy in the way that all horror movies are, but not really anything too outlandish. But boy does it really go off the rails after that.

7 is barely an RE game but it's really good regardless. The big points of what made RE successful - horror, survival, limited inventory/weapons, goofy puzzles, and fun bad guys are all there but because it's moved into a first person perspective it can be a little jarring to what we've experienced over the past how ever many RE games. And the story of course strays pretty signficantly from the mainline story but given where it ended up in 6, that's not really a bad thing.

I've stayed away from anything about 8 because I want to be fresh when it comes out, but 7 was one the best games I've played in recent years.

If you want something that's strictly Resident Evil, the two recent remakes are incredibly good. If you want something that changes up the formula a bit and adds something new, play RE7.

Or play all of them. I'm not your dad.

I think and hope that our next major breakthrough will be the development of a battery using new technology. I think that's probably our biggest hurdle right now when it comes to most electric issues. That's the biggest issue we have with renewable resources like solar and wind - they're inconsistent. They potentially can generate all the power we need, but as soon as the sun goes down or the wind stops we effectively have nothing.

Not to mention the manufacturing and disposal of current batteries is awful for the environment.

That's what I mean. I feel like if they just take it away it's going to feel like a cheap way to induce progression. You can kinda get away with it in stuff like the Metroid series because it's not episodic.

I'm sure they'll start you back from square one but I'm not gonna like it.

I didn't mind the sidequests, mainly because there was a decent level of world building and there was a small amount of them overall.

They weren't the worst thing ever but doing shit like finding cats and 'Go here and kill (x) enemies' is boring. Some of the sidequests added to the world like the thief quest but more than a few were just mindless garbage. Unfortunately that seems to be the price of a (semi) open world game.

Mercifully they can be skipped outright on subsequent playthroughs and to my knowledge don't impact the game past doing them in the first run.

My only major gripes are with the aforementioned story changes and the repetitive nature of some of the side quests. Gameplay was solid and I wished they had more boss type fights. The house fight in particular was a lot of fun for me.

That being said, I'm kinda curious how they're gonna push it through to the next episodes. Seems like you get the majority of the spellbook within the first episode not to mention the levels and what not. Starting Episode 2 with maxed out level spells means no progression. Whereas being taken back to square one when starting the next episode I would find annoying and I know is some kinda gaming trope but in a story that's supposed to be contiguous, its even more egregious.

That said, it was my favorite game of the year though I admittedly skipped quite a few big titles.

But is it confirmed this actually ended up on Twitter? So far as I can tell, we only have the claim that it happened from the daughter. I don't think I've ever had straight up lobster - only ever in shit like mac n cheese. Mom is allergic to shellfish so we never ate it growing up and I didn't think I'd enjoy it until I learned to eat more seafood as an adult.
