The challenge is there to make it easier for folks with a potential claim to a trademark to make it happen but its not the only way to do it. The assumption that someone would have to watch the whatever trademark challenge claims like a hawk would be a ridiculous ask of regular individuals or businesses that don't have an attorney on hand.

That being said, from what I understand her claim to be able to get any sort of restitution for their using her alleged name is going to be much more difficult to prove. They seem to have acted in good faith by filing the trademark. I would wager at best, if she does get the trademark claim, she won't get anything else from it in lost revenue. Especially because she's obviously the smaller 'brand'.

It seems that Anita White never got a trademark herself, and never contested Lady Antebellum's use of "Lady A." She was relatively unknown (getting 15 likes per Instagram post, no Wikipedia page) until a month ago when this name dispute started.

Lady Antebellum has an argument for trademark ownership and they are willing to coexist with the name, even if they legally don't have to. Basically this smells like she just wants to try to make a quick buck. Initially she was fine sharing their name and then shot out the demand for $10 million.

You can pretty easily challenge a trademark claim even if the period for trademark dispute has passed. You just have to be able to prove you've been doing business under the trademark prior to their purported use of it. This Anita chick has allegedly been going under Lady A for 20 some odd years.

Detroit is a simple, curated experience and it delivers pretty well. Its not perfect, but its a fun story and I like those CYA type situations.

RDR2 is certainly better as an actual video game but can be tedious at times. Like the previous game, there's a certain amount of grinding and repetition involved.

dont need to on windows machines because they're generally formatted with NTFS

macs generally use HFS which requires properly ejecting because the HFS format basically doesnt unmount for you
