Misato > Rei > Asuka

Misato was all shades of fucked up, but she was one of the closest people Shinji had in his life and even as her foibles and issues as a person negatively affected Shinji - making him do all the chores, making a move on him at one point to numb the pain of Rei 2's death - she offered support and stability, even as a pantomime. She's deeply messed up, but because of that I think she can level with Shinji when she's not Hedgehog's Dilemma-ing it up like he does. She is, for all intents and purposes, the closest person in Shinji's life. And maybe she uses that to exploit him for the good of NERV, like in EoE, and that's a function of her role at NERV. But still, in optimal conditions, Misato is a very fun and out-going person, and if we're talking "waifu" shit then sure, she's neat.

Rei has a lot in common with Shinji. She's very meek, she's used to living alone, she's mistreated and exploited by Gendo and NERV. But because of her upbringing in NERV, she's accustomed to being used as a tool, whereas Shinji holds a lot of baggage regarding his dad and being used to pilot the EVA. Shinji slowly supercedes his father as the person Rei fights for, because he shows her kindness and treats her like a person, and it's this influence that results in her self-destruction to kill... Bardiel? It's been a while since I've seen the show. Shinji and Rei grow the most throughout the course of the series, and I don't think it's wrong to say that they influence each other's actions within NERV as the series goes on. It's a good pairing, especially if you read the manga. It's a shame that the Evangelion universe basically exists to make something shitty out of anything that could be good, what with Rei's origin and whatnot.

I don't like Asuka. I find her more sympathetic than when I was a teenager, but she verbally and physically abuses Shinji and a relationship in that sense would lack an equal distribution of power. Her relationship with Shinji is extremely unhealthy, down to the last shot of the series, and I genuinely don't understand how people find her behavior appealing. I understand the "tsundere" concept, but this idea that you'll get to a soft, demure core after weathering abuse is fucking stupid - everyone needs help, but turning "traumatised individual hurts those around her until someone comes along and weathers her storm long enough to fix her" into a goddamn trope? That shit is wack. Asuka warms up to Shinji, but the fact remains that she spends most of the series toying with him, hitting him and yelling at him, extolling her superiority over him and just generally treating him like a piece of shit - it's unappealing as a pairing at best, and outright irresponsible at worst. And Shinji does retaliate with creepy weird teenager shit, which arguably makes things even worse - a majority of their relationship is built on mutual hostile dysfunction, which even Misato is better about.

If we're counting these people for their strengths and not their weaknesses - Misato is very accommodating and outgoing, Rei is sheltered but sweet and has room to grow as a person, and Asuka is confident to the point of brashness. I've had 12 years with these characters to get to the root of their characters, and I can say with certainty that I think the order here is Misato > Rei > Asuka.

Even then, Kaworu is the best choice, so I mean whatever.

Two theories

1: depends on how far along the baby is. If it's before 8 weeks or so, it's considered a part of the mom and gets dusted along with her. If it's older than that, it just kind of falls onto the pavement and dies if it doesn't get dusted. If the baby gets dusted and not the mom, well... Fetus Deletus.

2: since the baby is connected to its mother and relies on her input to survive, it's considered a part of a mother. So if she gets dusted, so does the baby.

Yeah, I don't know what to tell you. I saw the previews at the time and I wasn't interested.

When I think of likeable right-wing characters, Ash Williams in Ash Vs. Evil Dead comes to mind. He was a right-wing boomer at times, but he was also entertaining as fuck and he fucked up deadites like no-one's business. To a degree I think of Earl Hickey, but mostly from a redneck angle rather than explicitly a right-wing angle - Earl was a good dude trying to make up for his mistakes, and he seemed like he was friendly enough while growing as a person.

Gotta ask as someone who hasn't seen Eastbound and Down - what traits of Kenny Powers are getting to you most?

I understand that this is all subjective, but I feel like Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeff Goldblum and Tom Hiddleston carry Thor Ragnarok with their chemistry. Is Ragnarok overrated? Sure, every man and his dog defaults to Ragnarok as their favorite Marvel movie and if you're sick of bland, forced jokes in Disney properties like Marvel or Star Wars, it might be a hard pill to swallow. But after a generic first movie and a poorly received sequel movie, Thor 3 found what many people considered to be Thor's heart. I genuinely love that movie's set design, characters and actor chemistry.

I can't remember Ant Man and the Wasp's set design. I barely remember the plot - Michael Douglas hates Paul Rudd because he misused the Ant Man suit in Civil War, and he needs help finding his wife. Evangeline Lilly is the Wasp, and is generally pretty proficient in beating up bad guys in pretty standard action scenes. Stretch that out to around 2 hours and you have a Marvel sequel.

And it's like, Paul Rudd was excellent in Endgame. He was involved with the plot, he was clever and funny and genuinely pretty deep. He's the audience surrogate in the start of the movie, and he sells the bafflement and despair of a person who only now knows about the 5 year time skip. But outside of learning magic tricks for his daughter, I couldn't tell you if he's all that entertaining in Ant Man and the Wasp. Every performance in that movie rolled off my back like water off a duck's back. Michael Douglas, IMO, phoned it in. Lawrence Fishburne, for the most part, phoned it in. The conflict with Ghost was kind of a waste of time in the long run, and while I liked Ghost and I hope she comes back, she spends most of the movie combatting the main cast before we learn the circumstances behind her condition and the movie tries to pull a redemption arc.

Maybe I'm too invested in this, but nothing about Ant Man and the Wasp felt right. It felt wooden, and even when the movie did stuff I was hoping it would do, it barely registered to me even with like a triumphant theme behind it to signify that it's a Good Thing that Happened. Lots of Marvel movies are like this conceivably, but none of them feel as empty and forgettable as Ant Man and the Wasp. It had everything going for it, I love the cast members, but the end product was such a cookie-cutter Marvel plot with bland dialogue, bland environments and excellent story beats and potentially entertaining character moments that are brought down by a weak script and a plot that goes absolutely nowhere.

The issue with Ghost is that even with the awesome CGI behind her abilities and cool-ass design, she's wasted on a bland, homogenous Marvel sequel.

I liked Ghost in this movie, and I liked seeing Lawrence Fishburne show up. This movie had an excellent cast, great character designs and potential to be one of the spearhead Marvel comedy movies alongside Guardians and Thor Ragnarok. Instead, its excellent cast of Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Walter Goggins, Michael Pea, Randall Park, Michelle Pfeiffer and Lawrence Fishburne are slotted into the most samey Marvel plot framework, and not even Paul Rudd, Michael Pea, Randall Park and Lawrence Fishburne's charm or chemistry as actors can save what is one of the blandest nothing-plots in the MCU.

It is genuinely such a shame to me that it simply exists in this sort of limbo state, what with the pedigree of its actors and the shaky but solid foundation movie from which it spawns. Ant Man and the Wasp is the movie equivalent of empty calories to me, and in regards to criticism of movies that hinge on "this movie only exists to set up infinity war/endgame", this movie is the poster child for that complaint for good reason.

Ant-Man and the Wasp
This is my choice as well. Ant Man and the Wasp is the definition of a phoned in, paint-by-numbers, homogenised Marvel sequel.

Iron Man 3 was a fun movie where Tony Stark went around ganking dudes. "urr it doesn't have any iron man in it!" - shit complaint that misses the point of the movie. The twist and villain is just kind of there, but it's a fun little action flick that doesn't rely on the big-dick Disney CGI for a majority of the movie.

The original Ant Man? Not perfect, but it offered something different to the MCU in a similar vein to how the first Guardians of the Galaxy offered something different. It had its Marvelisms, and its best aspects are suspected to be left over from Edgar Wright's original vision for the movie while the bland parts are considered to be Marvel shoehorning shit into it - but it was a great movie before Guardians 2's "set-up comment, set-up comment, joke" script boiled Marvel humor down to a homogenous science, and before Ant Man and the Wasp lowered the material to cheap, almost forced proportions.

I have a CD. I love the music on it - I paid upwards of $15 for this disc, and I can listen to it any time I want granted that I have the equipment to read the data on the disc and play it as music. One day I don't have the disc or the means to play it, and any alternatives like Spotify will shuffle the CD's music tracks and not allow me to enjoy the music in the order it's intended to be listened in. The only way I can enjoy this music is to listen to a YouTube playlist, or to watch a 40+ minute "Full Album" YT video.

I bought the music. My money went towards the record company and the artist, I own a copy of their music and have paid for the right to listen to it. There has been a prior transaction to access a small selection of musician's songs in a specific order, and there is no ill will or active attempts of thievery going on. The YouTube video/s are not monetized so the uploader makes no money from the upload. By all accounts, I have paid for the album and are not enjoying the music to the disadvantage of the band or record label, since I've already paid them for access to their music.

Is it immoral to listen to a YouTube upload of an album you've paid for in the past, to supplement an occasion in which you're not able to access that copy that you own?

I've been liking season 4 specifically because it hasn't been taking itself seriously. Season 3 had so much lore hype around it because of the season 2 ending, and because of that every time it didn't meet the standard of what I wanted from the end of season 2, the show fell kind of flat. The toxin episode, for some reason, just irritated me at the time. Pickle Rick was fine when it wasn't a cultural phenomenon I couldn't escape, the mind crystal episode was just underwhelming for me - that whole season just left a bad taste in my mouth. And I liked episodes like the Beth and Jerry alien marriage councilling episode - season 3 just fucking annoyed me. Especially the ending.

But season 4 feels like a really entertaining irreverent show again. It's just fun, goofy episodes that I'm really digging - it's not trying to chase a dramatic height, like the evil Morty saga or the Beth episode from season 3. It's about dragons fucking, intentionally shitty heists, having to escape increasingly fascist parallel dimensions - it's great.

If they can pull off a serious episode in the next half that doesn't feel like half-baked trash, I'm going to be very happy.

There have been equally as problematic ships in the past, and there will be equally as problematic ships in the future. What matters is what the fans make of it.

I absolutely agree that Kylo Ren spent all his time playing mind games, and he intentionally and repeatedly tried to instill fear and hate in her while actively gaslighting her about her parents. It's a bad relationship, and it's messed up that people find that dynamic romantic.

But keep in mind that people shipped Zutara in Avatar: The Last Airbender well before Zuko started his redemption. That scene in Book One where Zuko is holding Katara hostage with the pirates, and dangling her family necklace in front of her to get her to betray the Avatar? I've heard people unironically call that scene romantic, because Zuko says "I'll save you from the pirates". It's not an out of the frying pan into the fire situation, it's romantic because Zuko said he'd save her.

I think the reason people ship characters like pre-redemption Zuko and Kylo Ren is because people like a bad boy. He's dark, he's brooding, he treats you like shit but there's something soft there that people want to coax out of them. That dynamic alone sums up Reylo, but it's the rough draft of a hundred different problematic ships. It's the pretense of thousands of fanfiction stories where angsty characters hit their SOs for cheap drama. This has existed for longer than Reylo, and it will exist long after.

The worst part about Reylo shippers is that since 2015, they've been emboldened by the flack they get. They've heard time and time again that they're evil and abusive for partaking in Reylo shipping, they've been called disgusting and incestuous because the common thought for years was that Rey is a Skywalker. They've been painted as abusers in the same way pre-redemption Zutara shippers were labelled abusers, and in the same way Kataang shippers from that same show were accused of normalising pedophilia because Aang was 12 and Katara was 14. Mind you, this discourse was happening when I myself was 12 years old, shipping those two characters. It's batshit insane, the degree that people subscribe to functional pairings and actively attack other people based on their ships.

Here's my take on Reylo, as someone who's engaged in similar disparaging rhetoric against a similar ship in the past. The people who are invested in it are most likely not neo-nazis, white supremacists or abusers - all labels that have been ascribed to Kylo Ren, and two of them ascribed to the First Order as a whole. They are likely indulging in misplaced fantasies of angsty boys treating someone like shit, because pain and suffering is deep and it's meaningful to inflict pain on others, and other stupid dogshit like that. These people are most likely teenagers who will snap out of it as they continue to grow up and regret being a part of the Reylo ship.

But they will not stop enjoying this ship because self-righteous people call for the death of it, because people cry out that it's warping the minds of its shippers. This is something they will grow out of 9/10 times, but you can't force that because they'll feel victimised, double down on it to "fuck the haters" and become more reactionary to defend themselves and their personal interests. Seriously - I've been there, I've seen it happen in other people. This is not new.

People didn't stop shipping Zutara because they were painted as abusers, they doubled down on the aspects they feel were justified and began attacking the self-righteous "haters" who tried to paint them as bad people for shipping it. The Twilight fanbase didn't stop liking Twilight because people characterised the central relationship as abusive, and characterised the young, teen girl demographic as vapid idiots who would grow up to let men slap them in the face because they committed the cardinal sin of enjoying Twilight over "better" or "healthier" literature - and I say this as one of the self-righteous shitheads who engaged in the Twilight hate mob. It's still dumb and gross in parts, but the people who enjoyed it growing up haven't been so crippled by one media franchise that they're actively seeking out men to batter them because that's what they think true love is. Frankly it's just an entertaining footnote now, and there's nothing wrong with liking something like Twilight for the sum of its parts.

Reylo is merely the next iteration of this fandom moral panic. It harkens back to 2015 where Reylo was slagged for romanticising a Nazi, romanticising abuse and engaging in incest - because Rey was clearly a Skywalker, it's so obvious that she's a Skywalker, that would make her and Ben cousins, how could you etc. It also harkens back to when people asserted that their headcanon about Rey being gay was clearly the case, and argued that Reylo was homophobic. Reylo copped a metric fuckton of flack for a bunch of bigger-picture stuff that ended up amounting to nothing, and now only one pillar of its backlash remains - that it's abusive.

Zutara was abusive. Bella and Edward was an abusive relationship. No-one gave a fuck, people built on the foundation of its better points and used it as a force for good. I thought it was stupid, and I also thought it would only embolden potential abusers and such, but people who stuck with Zutara and people who lived and breathed Twilight have come out the other side still breathing, and surprisingly they're not irrevocably warped to believe that emotional and physical pain are what true love is all about. Some people might be like this, statistically, but just as many people who stayed out of any "problematic" ships at probably affected by that problem.

Anti-SJW fanboys ruin fucking everything. Captain Marvel, Titans, Star Wars, Life Is Strange. Anti-SJW fanboys tried to define what was and wasn't a game during Gamergate, which excluded stuff like visual novels and choose-your-own-adventure style experiences. And they're adaptable - whatever the herd sniffs out this week will be the subject of widespread mocking and hate for "pandering to the ess-jay-double-yous", across anything deemed to be "nerd" media.

I'll agree any day of the week that shippers are some of the most overzealous, combative and unpleaseable people within a fanbase. But it's the backlash against ships like Reylo, the insistence that its practitioners are mentally ill and will only grow to hurt others or be hurt themselves that further embolden the people who like it. They'll work twice as hard to justify their love for it, and they won't get better until they grow out of it themselves - and since 2015, when Reylo shippers were hit the hardest by other Star Wars fans, that has happened. If they're overzealous now, you can probably blame the

Day 1: the mixture is incredibly cloudy. The temperature has consistently hovered at around 28 degrees C, which is a miracle considering the Aussie heat. The vat is steamy.

According to my instructions, I would have to start testing my beer's gravity after 6 days of brewing at 21 degrees, or 4 days at 27 degrees. So roughly, add two days for every 6 degrees below 21, or reduce two days for every 6 degrees over 27. Given the proximity to 27 degrees, I'll be testing my vat's gravity in four days. This is Day One, and Day Four will be Tuesday.

The residue on the lid is steam reflecting light from the light of my camera.

TopicFingers In His Ass Sunday

This Sunday will be the last Fingers In His Ass Sunday of the decade. I would like to take this opportunity to bring this meme to the attention of CE in the hopes that one day, this message board will produce something as pointlessly entertaining.

https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/fingers-in-his-ass?full=1

"Fingers In His Ass" refers to a song mashup made by BotanicSage and made popular by YouTube channel Triple Q in retaliation for having his videos being taken down for using rapper Kanye West's music. The song's lyrics are variations on the sentence "Kanye West likes fingers in his ass," referencing a rumor started by West's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose saying West liked to have his butthole played with during sex, a rumor West denied. The song was later paired with animations and parodied on YouTube and Tumblr.

Origin

On January 27th, 2016, during a feud with Kanye West, model and West's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose[1] tweeted insinuating that Kanye was mad she no longer played with his butthole during sex. Kanye later ranted to a live audience at a concert of his saying "that bitch never stuck no fingers in my ass."

Around the same time, YouTuber Triple Q had a video of his taken down because it used some of Kanye West's music in a mashup. On February 14th, 2016, he retaliated against West by posting a satirical song made by BotanicSage based around the lyric "Kanye West likes fingers in his ass." The song uses two samples from Undertale and a sample from "Miss New Booty" by Bubba Sparxxx.

Spread

On July 17th, 2017, the lyrics were submitted to /r/copypasta[3] where it gained 95 points.[3] January 15th, 2018, the song was paired with a MikuMikuDance animation featuring Sans from Undertale and Nagito Komaeda from Danganropa, gaining over 89,000 notes.

Between that day and April 6th, 2018, it was reblogged by user grapiibear, since deleted, with the phrase "Fingers in his ass sunday," which helped spark a trend on Tumblr alongside Energy Sword Sunday where every Sunday references to the video would be reblogged.

The Final Sunday

On December 16th, 2018, the day before Tumblr's ban on adult content went into effect, Tumblr users celebrated what they dubbed the "final" Fingers In His Ass Sunday. Posts were shared under the tag "#the final sunday," paying tribute to the meme as though it were dying. Many popular posts spread throughout the day, including a post by daveslutstaine that gained over 18,000 notes and a This Is It, Luigi parody posted by grotess that gained over 16,000 notes.

<img src="https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/001/441/105/aa7.png">

Additionally, user harpsona posted a video of herself playing the song on the harp, gaining over 15,000 notes.

One thing this article doesn't mention is the rivalry of Energy Sword Sunday and Fingers In His Ass Sunday. The two were playfully pitted against each other as conflicting memes, with one subset of people indulging in Energy Sword Sunday and the other indulging in Fingers In His Ass Sunday. There were stragglers who called for harmony, but the two worlds remained split for the bulk of their popularity.

When The Final Sunday happened, Sans and Komaeda took up energy swords and engaged in one last MMD animation, with Energy Sword Sunday and Fingers In His Ass Sunday fans going all out for one last hurrah before Tumblr banned adult content. It was genuinely pretty hype to see worlds collide like this on the eve of the porn ban, and now the memes have been left behind.

This Sunday will be the last Fingers In His Ass Sunday of the 2010's. Join me in celebrating this stupid ass meme, and let it live for one more day.

The leaks were, more or less, the entire plot of the movie. Down to Luke and Leia's training scene, the Knights of Ren stuff and the different planets visited.

I think the issues that fans had with that leak, and in extension the end result, are as follows:

  • Cheap, random macguffin out of nowhere
  • Random life transfer power
  • Rey's lineage
  • Reylo ending
  • Tatooine ending
It wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but I've certainly seem better. The elements outlined above are a reason why I think people were particularly upset. The leak read like a cheap fanfiction, and the movie vindicated every last point that was leaked.

Disneys gonna fucking ruin Deadpool
I understand the sentiment, but I don't think Disney is gonna go out if their way to sabotage Deadpool's appeal. I think at the very least, they're gonna get as many folks from the first two movies as they can and tell them to go nuts, and Deadpool 3 will be a very entertaining watch.

But that will effectively be Deadpool's last hurrah, because when it comes to Marvel sequels, Disney is way too fond of homogenising them and watering them down to either closely resemble the first movie or to use it as a crutch for their extended universe.

Ant Man and the Wasp is the worst example of this, and at the risk of sounding like a contrarian shithead, it shows plain as day in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as well.

Ant Man 1, while not the finest superhero movie ever crafted, was a fine comedic superhero flick with some decent effects. I genuinely believe it got shit on way too hard when it came out. Ant Man and the Wasp looked good, but the dialogue and plot wasn't anywhere as near as good as the first movie was. This movie was overrated as fuck - I liked the cut of the plot's job, but the whole thing was a bland, uninspired mess.

Guardians of the Galaxy was an unexpected breath of fresh air for Marvel. It was a comedy action movie that also served as an ensemble piece with its share of pathos and drama for each of the characters. Ending wasn't too flash, but the movie was very enjoyable.

Guardians 2 had the formula down to a science. Most of the movie's humor was "set-up comment, set-up comment, joke. Set-up comment, set-up comment, joke." In that order, ever-repeating, until the movie ended. When The Last Jedi came out, the constant humor and extravagant CGI setpieces reminded me a lot of Guardians 2 - that's one reason why TLJ didn't measure up to TFA for me, it felt like a cheap Marvel movie. It felt like Disney had crossed the streams way too fucking hard.

I didn't mind Guardians 2, while Ant Man and the Wasp was an actual chore.to sit through from one of Ant Man's greatest defenders. Marvel movies had always been kind of comedic, but Ant Man was a sillier movie than most of them and it was an entertaining watch. Everything Ant Man and the Wasp did felt like a shadow of the original movie, and the super-serious plot with Ghost felt so generic and unwatchable, even though I enjoyed the design of Ghost and the effects of their movement.

Here's the thing. After Disney bought the MCU, they allowed the creative forces in those early movies to thrive and create fairly unabashedly. When that proved to be successful, they worked with the Marvel brains trust to keep that whole brand fresh, entertaining and viable.

Deadpool 3 isn't a Marvel movie, even though it's a Marvel property. They will bring Deadpool and/or his universe into the MCU, even as a glorified cameo machine, but before they whore Deadpool out in the way he's usually whored out in media that contains him, they will work hard to match or exceed the expectations of Deadpool movie fans to build goodwill. Then they'll get commendations for bringing Deadpool into the MCU, even though he's a bland cameo machine who keeps appearing in other movies for a quick meme scene, and he'll burn out into a generic pop-culture list staple extolling his quirky, meta humor, despite any wit or grit that comes from his character being absent for years after Deadpool 3 came and went.

I came in planning to nitpick your selection, but folks have already done that (presumably out of love). This is a very nice collection, the MGS2 and 3 versions are very nice touches.

I get that you might not want Phantom Pain, but it would be a nice touch. Also, I got my PSP version of Peace Walker for like $10 on eBay - it might not be "prime" MGS, but it's very good and I think the PSP version deserves some rep. But it's your collection, which is very good (especially that David Hayter signature!), and at the end of the day I respect your dedication to grabbing as much MGS stuff as you can.

What brought this on?
I was up at my nan and pop's house this Christmas, and their neighbour brought up some homebrewed beer. I've drank some shit homebrew in my time, mostly spirits, but the stuff he gave me was a really good ginger beer mixed with some bourbon. It tasted delicious, and he offered to grab me a regular beer he brewed up after that.

The beer he gave me tasted like one of my favorite beers - Cooper's. But it honest to god tasted better than the Cooper's I buy via longneck. I told him this, and he told me that it was a premix solution from Cooper's that he made.

He then basically extolled the power of homebrewing to me, with the most important part being that for $20 a batch, I could make 20+ longnecks of beer. I can't communicate well enough how delicious this beer was compared to the longnecks sold by that same brand - it was absolutely delicious. And that price point is unbeatable.

Anyway - cut to the next day. I'm back home, and I've told my friends that I plan to get into homebrewing. We end up at my town's Wal-mart-esque store and we come across a homebrewing kit for $65.

I was gonna leave it behind and grab it the next time I got paid - now that I think about it, I would have kept putting it off and putting it off until I didn't care any more. My friends told me that I should get it right then and there. I gave in, and I went home with $100 worth of brewing equipment.

Basically, a great experience with some homebrew beer and some positive peer pressure are why I bought myself a brewing kit.

A part of me wants to incorporate MrMallard into it. Something like Mal's Malt or some shit like that - I need some time to workshop a good name based on MrMallard. But I also have a name lined up based on my real life nickname that I'm planning to name the first batch.

Which ingredients are you using and what type of beer are you brewing?

Also is this your first time brewing?
The ingredients are a Cooper's DIY beer brewing kit, which is just a bunch of gunk from a can mixed with 23 litres of water, and the beer is a Cooper's pale ale. This is indeed my first time brewing - I bought the equipment off the shelf at a local store, and I made up my first batch on a whim.

I'm planning to make a really solid, tasty pale ale. I've had a tasty pale ale in my time - the darker the head, the fruitier and tastier the beer has been. But Cooper's pale ale has a very pale white head like any other beer on a bar's tap, which tends to be lager, and while I enjoy a good Cooper's, it simply doesn't compare to its contemporaries which have darker heads and more varied, robust flavors.

I imagine there were many pre- and post-9/11 users who were critical of George Bush, the War on Terror and conservatism's ever-growing love of lobbying and entertaining corporate interests when introducing and voting on legislation. But every account with a few thousand karma to them on this website seem to veer towards calling lefties "commies", making similarly pithy pro-Trump shitposts and just generally being a nuisance.

Surely there are high-karma accounts who don't veer towards being a conservaturd user on here.
