Odyssey would get beat badly. I think there's a fundamental difference between Super Mario 64 and every other 3D Mario game. GameFAQs doesn't actually like 3D Mario *that* much, but 64 is put on a pedestal for revolutionizing 3D gaming as a whole. It was probably the first 3D game a lot of people played, and that means a lot.

I think the general fanbase would prefer TTYD as well actually. Paper Mario is going to be stronger in contests because it has a superior name brand and came first though.

I find that I barely care about what I pull at this point. if it's not an SSR dupe then who cares, and those are going to be so rare that it's hard to be disappointed when you don't get them.

Beautiful ending. Game was pretty much as good as I remembered it, a.k.a. it's either my #1 or #2 favorite game depending on the day of the week.

Biden is the perfect COVID climate candidate as long as he sits back the next two months. Bernie would have been a great one too due to how on-brand his message is for the times, but he would be taking Trump to task basically every day, and it would make conservatives want to 'fight back'. Biden sitting back allows conservatives to be forced to observe Trump self-destructive entirely on his own. Essentially, Biden Wins By Doing Absolutely Nothing.

New 'fun' fact:

Entering the arena resets the timer for your next arena entry ticket. For example, I had 1 arena entry ticket, and the timer said that I would be getting another one in 6 minutes. I did an arena fight, exited...and now the timer says I'll get another entry ticket in two hours.

Don't know if it's been mentioned here, but if you retry a fight without changing anything about your party, the enemies will perform the *exact* same order of actions they did in the previous fight. So you can't just retry and hope they make some mistakes. Thankfully you can mess with their order of actions by doing something as simple as changing the positions of your front line. I changed nothing except swapping my frontliners' positions and the boss went from focusing my glass cannon 100% of the time to focusing my tank 90% of the time.

I enjoyed Velvet's side story a lot. They captured her character well. In general the game has been good at taking Tales characters and integrating them into a new setting.

I'd rather have dupes than new characters honestly. I intend to never take Velvet, Lloyd, or SSR Kanata out of the party so I'd rather pump them up. Like I just got Sorey but realistically speaking I will never touch him.

Last three pulls I've gotten one SSR. Would be more annoyed if I didn't already have a full team I like (and if I hadn't already done an extensive experiment where at one point I got six full-pulls in a row with no SSR).

Some of you are bulldozing your way through this game. I'm playing a fair amount and am currently in Chapter 3 with everyone around Level 25.

Velvet has the strongest base attack power in the game and I *think* the strongest MA in the game. Use her at the end of a big combo and watch things explode.

As someone who doesn't hate Estelle, boy do I hate Estelle. Tanky as fucking even WITHOUT the heals. Yeah her damage sucks, but she's the only character I've experienced so far where the tradeoff if worth it.

It's hard to quantify. Lloyd is my tanky guy, and while he rarely gets the flashy finishes, he builds up combo meters well so others can do more damage, and there have been a few fights where I benefited a lot from him soaking up enemy attacks.

Lloyd is a tank/combo build character in this game instead of a straight damage, which feels weird but he works well enough. Amazing Mystic Art too.

My current team is SSR Kanata/Velvet/Lloyd/Reid. I'm very happy I got SSR Kanata because I'm enjoying his character in the plot quite a bit and it would feel weird not to use the protagonist. I have no idea who Reid is but he's an SSR and does fire punches so he's alright in my book.

A workaround you can do is go to the in game codex, look for items, then click the 'found at' option in the training item you wanna get.

Alright, current plan is to keep the Lloyd roll on the side and continue with the experiment. Honestly I just really wanted Lloyd (or Velvet, whoever I didn't get I can use on the guaranteed summon) and at this point I'll be continuing on to build a data set. After I get 100 I'll make some detailed stats and post it to a reddit or something.
