Yeah, those 'Sit' spots are great. It wouldn't work in most games but Life is Strange uses them effectively to realistically explore Max's inner thoughts. There are two at Chloe's house in Ep1 that I always liked because they're just her reliving memories, subtly conveying their long history even though the player has only just met Chloe

Also, this is a weird compliment to the game, but I appreciate the ability to sit and do nothing. You get some cool views, some inner thoughts, and somehow having a moment to encourage you to stop and reflect just works.

Not stop like LoZ:LBW encourages you to stop, either -- just take a moment to let the area sink in. It's no reason to try the game, but it's a neat simple addition to show the developers care about their craft here.

On rhis anti-Pelosi thing: I never knew her career too well outside of I think being a big player in passing the ACA. I see The Young Turks tearing into her a lot lately though and knew Republicans have gone after her for ages. Welp, gotta believe in the next episode I've got some comeuppance coming my way with Victoria and Nathan. I never trusted Victoria to be on ny side anyway so I don't mind the picture I took of her, but...yeah, there's a trap waiting for me soon.

I had no idea about this Kate-spoiler besides an email Square-Enix just sent like last week about reaching out to a friend...made me think a suicide would be in this game somewhere, just didn't know when.

I, uh...I think somebody's keeping death-folders at the end of each episode? Initial thought's David, but who knows with this game.

It was a weird season, sure. I loved the first half of it, but I get it.

They've signaled they're returning to more independent episodes though. Also, the Fractured But Whole ought to be about finished now, right? I think their show slacked last time they were in the middle of making a game, so maybe now that it's about done that will show through an increased focus in their TV series.

In 2008, Hillary literally brought up Louis Farrakhan and said Obama should have denounced him sooner, compared Obama to Dubya, and basically called him soft on terrorists...which for that last one in particular if you'll recall, was a common accusation from Republicans his entire presidency.

Don't forget "He's not a Muslim, as far as I know" (paraphrased). It's not the worst dog-whistle ever (or hers really), but Donald completely ran with the birther campaign for five years before dumping its blame on her because she made this kind of comment.

Bernie was like the only person in America who didn't care about her damn emails, and he led off in the first debate with that. Does she cover that in the book? Bernie supporters went to Hillary more than Hillary supporters went to Obama. Is that included?

Bernie exposed a pre-existing fracture in the Democratic party and I'm thankful he did -- we've needed this conversation within the party for awhile. Hillary can be mad at it and I don't blame her emotionally -- I get it. But, like, now she's associating the worst of Bernie fans with Donald to make it sound like everybody who Feels The Bern are the same and they're not. Bernie Bros have been called sexist a bunch by a candidate who was blatantly telling people to vote for her because she'd be the first woman to be President. Don't do that, come on.

Regardless, I'm interested in her take on this whole experience.

I don't know that this new conversation solves the types of problems this board has suffered from the past twelve years. I agree that it sounds like Donald's playing both sides with that tweet -- he's ending it in six months unless Congress passes it, which he's hoping for. This is like when he said he loves the Dreamers before this announcement of his against DACA.
