So holy crap, I was looking through South Park's website and I didn't realize the tons of episodes they've taken down. I knew about Super Best Friends and 200/201, and I know most of these are behind a Hulu paywall...but there are multiple episodes grayed out in almost every season now like they're not expected to be seen ANYWHERE.

What happened?

From what I've found from searching this, apparently once Hulu got South Park, they made it to where only 30 episodes would be available for free, and the rest you have to buy a Hulu subscription to get. The 30 episodes are supposedly random, much like when Crackle had Seinfeld switching out 10 episodes every month.

But that SP article is also 3 years old, so who knows

Okay, so I see that free section of SPS where you can watch what's freely available and most of the rest are behind the Hulu paywall, as denoted by the H-logos. On top of that though, a lot more episodes are grayed out, insinuating to me they just cannot be watched anymore period. Can anybody with Hulu check this out? It was gonna make a list of episodes newly(?) grayed out until I saw how many there were.

It was a weird season, sure. I loved the first half of it, but I get it.

They've signaled they're returning to more independent episodes though. Also, the Fractured But Whole ought to be about finished now, right? I think their show slacked last time they were in the middle of making a game, so maybe now that it's about done that will show through an increased focus in their TV series.

Thought about it! I didn't play much of the Stick of Truth -- I bought it for my roommates as a favor and loved watching then play, but the map system was a constant annoyance for me so I didn't play long after watching them beat it. I also don't think trying it on its hardest difficulty was a good call since it felt like it just made enemies more like damage-sponges. I'll retry it sometime. This is before considering how South Park talks about people who pre-order.....

That said, if after a few days into its release people are still big into it, I'll probably hop on.

I haven't preordered (I almost never preorder games) but I'm tempted to. Stick of Truth was easily one of the funniest games I've played.

Been hyped for TFBW for so long that even if I don't preorder I feel like I'm still gonna get it pretty immediately anyway

Agreed, Stick of Truth probably tops Conker's Bad Fur Day and the Stanley Parable for my vote of funniest game.

Best part is Stick of Truth and Octodad came out the same year (and they were my 2 favorites of that year overall)
