Fair, but so is Karl Rove and they didn't care then. Donald deleting emails before a casino lawsuit was old news too. Donald largely defeated Hillary on the email issue, and then nine months later he pardons Arpaio who's done the same thing.

Just making the point that Hillary wasn't given the same kind of pass other Republicans have received.

Game's legit so far, just a bit slow this act. Decisions have been tough and I really like the changes they make from the Telltale format -- this is more engaging and I trust the game more to make the choice I actually intend to make because I can see what immediately happens with my choices. The storyline's also unique for gaming, so that's nice.

Sometimes it feels a bit more like Gone Home than I want. Gone Home was a fine game too for what it did, but I feel like I've been doing a lot of exploring for the sake of world-building and atmosphere so I'm hoping in future episodes they trust my familiarity with Blackwell to let me get back to the story and choices a bit more quickly.

I laughed at the face Max drew on her slate -- all the characters seem pretty well done so far, though only a few have really been showcased so far. I don't feel confident in seeing Rachel, even though sometimes all this heavy-handed OH NO SHE'S GONE talk can be foreshadowing for a later arrival. Maybe another season, but right now I figure we'll hear more about Rachel without seeing her alive (and probably not dead either).

Okay, so I see that free section of SPS where you can watch what's freely available and most of the rest are behind the Hulu paywall, as denoted by the H-logos. On top of that though, a lot more episodes are grayed out, insinuating to me they just cannot be watched anymore period. Can anybody with Hulu check this out? It was gonna make a list of episodes newly(?) grayed out until I saw how many there were.

Also, looking through the stats more, the only choice I didn't know I could may was breaking Chloe's snowglobe...never found it.

I let Daniel draw me, signed Ms. Grant's petition, helped Alyssa, changed Kate's slate, watered the plant, saved the bird (and then closed the window again to trap it), and read David's files.

I didn't touch Dana's pregancy test (IN THIS TIMELINE) or leave any evidence of being in David's business.

Told the principal what I saw, took Victoria's picture as payback, didn't leave Victoria's photos rearranged, didn't leave the drawing on the van, photographed David pestering Kate, scratched Nathan's face, told the truth with Chloe whenever possible, hid in the closet and stayed there when David barged in (the game really should have let me throw her stash out of the window).

Don't analyze me! I pay people to do that!

So holy crap, I was looking through South Park's website and I didn't realize the tons of episodes they've taken down. I knew about Super Best Friends and 200/201, and I know most of these are behind a Hulu paywall...but there are multiple episodes grayed out in almost every season now like they're not expected to be seen ANYWHERE.

Who's ready to time-travel all the way back to July?

Donald Trump as President in July 2017:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KcIqLoEbDlMZTF0NFI25ir_QBua2J3cKI6CL1YghiUY/edit?usp=drivesdk

This is the moment Donald became MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL. The month began with Donald beating up a CNN logo at a time when the 25th Amendment was trending on Twitter, and it only got more MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL from there. Top three hits include:

Donald Trump Jr.'s "If it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer."

Anthony Scaramucci's "I'm not Steve Bannon, I'm not trying to suck my own cock."

John McCain's "No." (cue the Rattlesnake's entrance music)

There's other stuff too. Donald meets Putin at the G-20 Summit, Trudeau meets with US Governors instead of Donald, states refuse to give voter rolls to Donald, The Rock gets a political committee together, Pope Francis's close associates accuse Steve Bannon of apocalyptic politics, the White House releases personal information of voters concerned about their personal information, almost as many civilians died under Donald already than they did under Obama's eight years, and a GOP operative who looked for Hillary's missing emails from Russian hackers commits suicide in a hotel room.

There's more of course, including this fun bit on disclosure: Jeff Sessions refused to disclose contacts with Russians because it would invade his personal privacy, and on that same day Jared Kushner updated his foreign contacts three times to include over a hundred more names. Kushner also added dozens more assets to his financial filings about a week later.

Last, I had forgotten about this: Mar-a-Lago visitor records are expected to be made public by September 8th too, so let's hope that's still true.

Got some conflicting reports on how military deployment in Harvey compares with Katrina. On this article from Tuesday focusing on this issue:

https://federalnewsradio.com/defense/2017/08/military-response-to-hurricane-harvey-could-reach-katrina-proportions/

At the height of Hurricane Katrina there were 50,000 National Guard troops deployed and 20,000 active duty.

Witham said he anticipates the situation will be similar for Houston.

The state of Texas has already called up its full National Guard force of 12,000 troops. The state has 19,000 total troops, but 7,000 are either just coming off of a deployment or are currently deployed in other areas.

Whereas from this article yesterday about the Pentagon having their numbers wrong:

http://thehill.com/policy/defense/348902-pentagon-miscounted-troops-deployed-for-harvey-relief-report?amp

U.S. Northern Command said Thursday that the U.S. military had deployed more than 6,300 active-duty troops but had actually only deployed 1,638 as of 7 a.m. Friday.

Braid's the only time I seriously tried to speed run, and even then I was roughly five minutes behind the record at a time when it could be beaten in twenty-nine minutes. I probably should have led with that instead of SM64 since Braid takes longer to see who rocks the most at running it.
