I was actually very disappointed that they didn't spend even 5 minutes of the movie showing the longterm effects of the Snap somehow. They had that graveyard scene....and that was kinda nice. But it wasn't enough.

I was really hoping for some scene where there were POSITIVE aspects pointed out. Like a TV in the background with a news reporter saying, "Lowest pollution levels ever recorded!" or "People in China able to see the stars for the first time in 100 years." You know? "Rainforests flourishing, and crop harvests bigger than ever before." "Global hunger crisis averted for the first time in recorded history".

I mean, as much as people hated Thanos....it would have been interesting if maybe someone had the balls to point out, "Hey....this is...actually...kinda......nice."

I don't personally know of anyone who has been felled by scandal. I mean, maybe the closest thing I can think of is a gay couple in my neighborhood who had a HELL of a time adopting children. They eventually only wanted to adopt one boy....but then they found out he had 4 other siblings....and it felt wrong to have all the kids separated....so they fought to adopt all of them.

They were probably the only openly gay couple in my entire town (which was pretty small). Because of this.....neighbors and shit would often call CPS on them for no reason at all. Just the assumption that abuse or sexually perverted acts were taking place in the home, cuz (redneck voice) "It just ain't natural having two gay men with 5 kids in the house! Something is going on! I hear weird sounds coming from their house late at night!"

It was kinda sad.

And CPS would have to come over and see what all the fuss was about, only to find nothing.

I have never had a single energy drink in my entire life.

I rarely even drink basic soda.

Big surprise: I am healthier than literally everyone around me. It's kind of awesome.

I remember taking a single whiff of a Redbull many years ago (because my friend offered me a sip), and I almost threw up. Seriously. It had FUMES in it.....so sweet and tart and borderline medicinal quality to it. It just smelled wrong. Like something you should NOT put in your body. Unless you are a hummingbird.

And I remember smelling a Monster energy drink when this fat dude on a plane was chugging one next to me.

Disgusting.

Plus, I could see how everyone around me was addicted to them. And I wanted no part in that.

I'm telling ya, the dangers of energy drinks are going to really start revealing themselves within the next decade or two, with all these kids now who have grown up with them since they were toddlers.

There's a reason America has 8 year olds with diabetes. There's a reason ADHD is on the rise. And obesity has ALWAYS been on the rise.

Change your habits, kids. Before you die.
