My town actually has a law on the books that you can't sell a house unless you have owned it for over 5 years. In theory, it prevents flipping of houses (which it does), but in practice it just leads to a bunch of zombie houses that the owners don't want anything to do with because they are stuck with them and don't want to pay for maintenance. My neighborhood has about 4 - 5 of them that have been abandoned for a while, one is literally two doors down from me. Which is a shame because when I moved in that house was amazing. If it was up for sale a year earlier when I bought my house I probably would be living there now given how nice it is.

That is what makes a Captain interesting. I know this is an unpopular opinion but I thought Picard was on the whole boring because every single decision he made boiled down to "The Prime Directive tells me to do this." It made a lot more sense for him to be an Admiral rather then a Captain, Captains have to bend the rules and make the tough decisions from time to time.

I cooked my steak too long, and instead of medium rare it came out medium well. It was tough, and less flavorful. I apologize for my steak destroying, and have eaten my mistake as punishment. At least it was only a strip steak and not a rib-eye, or I would have truly committed a cooking sin.

PS2, although I wish it had a native hard drive like the XBox (and no, the one you bought separate doesn't help because only one game supported it). But I buy a console for the games and PS2 had the games.

It very well could be. You don't know if the can has a micro perforation that has allowed the food to come into contact with air. Introducing air to food in cans and eating the results is a recipe for sickness or death

3 wasn't too bad, I actually liked it even though the single player was non-existent compared to Bad Company 2. 4 is basically 3 but buggy (at least on launch it was). I haven't played Battlefield 1, but I have heard it is really good (even the single player campaign is great).

The best one is still 2 IMO though.

Produce is really only expensive for stuff that isn't in season or native in your area. Which makes perfect sense, transporting that stuff or growing them in a greenhouse is expensive. In the middle of fall I can get apples and pears for $3 for a 2 lb bag. Try to get that now in the dead of winter and you are paying at least twice that.

The example given in the first paragraph makes sense because the US is like 9th in the world in artichoke production, and even then we only produce 1/10th of what Italy produces.

Most people seem to think the first half is good, but it honestly felt really slow and annoying compared to the second half. I mean he knew where the bad guy was, who he was, and was more then powerful enough to finish him off, so why didn't he?
