For some reason I always find myself humming this song when I'm DIY'ing or heaving stuff around.

Tipping culture varies per country/part of the world. North America is pretty much the only area where tipping is considered obligatory.
In western Europe is generally considered conpletely optional. Even if you don't tip ever, that's completely fine.

Nice to see this kind of thing happening from time to time, as it effectively serves as a reminder that their position doesn't mean they can do and say whatever they want.

Unless of course if they have enough money to just buy the world on their own, like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

This. In 20 years no one will be talking about it, but people will definitely still be talking about the OT and probably the PT even.

Personally I don't think the r-word is offensive at all, considered it's almost never used to ridicule mentally disabled people, but commonly used to describe something silly, stupid, nonsensical, annoyingly uncooperative etc.
Then again, I personally prefer to focus on the intention and context, rather than the literal word(s) being applied.

This, sadly. Sure, we like to have all these utopic ideas on what if certain typically capitalistic things didn't exist, but the harsh truth is simply that (the majority of) humans require some sort of tangible incentive in order to stay consistently motivated.

She went with medium well. I didn't react too much about it, but I suspect that she might not be aware that steak doesn't have to be fully cooked, considering she's pretty big on hygiene and tends to cook meals a little longer than necessary, just to be sure it's not too raw or anything.

Not sure why the 'blood and raw' look would put people off (assuming they're not vegetarian/vegan), knowing that it's perfectly edible, not to mention tastier than fully cooked.

The only sensible reason I can think of for anyone to go beyond medium well is if they don't realize steaks don't have to be fully cooked.

She gave me this look like she wanted to scream "YOU FILTHY HEATHEN" right then and there.

Obviously I'm on the sensible team here, right?

Because I just looked it up. Acting like this is one of the greatest tracks ever and everyone should know it by heart even though it's only four years old gives off the impression that you're pretty young/not particularly knowledgeable of the music landscape in general.

Space is big. Like incomprehensibly big. It makes sense that the bigger a budget the space research industry has, the more they can explore within a certain amount of time.

Subnautica

It's so incredibly soothing (but can also be very tense and scary as you go deeper). I can just start it up and do a playthrough for as long as I want, just exploring, gathering and building along the way.
The challenge is to keep things sort of fresh, like trying out new locations to build your seabase(s) at, what to build, and coming up with little (sometimes imaginary) challenges, like pretending to be unable to receive any messages, and thus have less reason to explore specific locations. Even though I know pretty much the entire game layout by heart now, I still try to explore around a way that makes sense, as if I'm exploring for the first time.

But yeah, I'm kinda weird like that I really hope Unknown Worlds makes another Subnautica sequel.

I would like her to play Envy Adams again.

I'd probably rate Aliens higher if Newt wasn't in it. I absolutely hate little children in survival horror movies, because their helplessness always results in all the cool and useful characters getting killed. The fact that Newt screams all the time makes it even worse.

Never as far as I know (though tbh I honestly don't know the sex/gender of all the people I've PM'd with for sure). Last PM exchange on GameFAQs with a confirmed female (non-CE) gal was about a decade ago.

I'd take that offer for at least a billion dollars, provided it's tax-free and there are no negative consequences other than public embarrassment. For that amount of money I can just laugh right back at them.
