Nah I want the Glock 26 because its a baby Glock that is super small and easy to conceal.

Oh yeah, and even though the Glock 26 only holds 10 rounds in the standard magazine, it can accept pretty much every 9 mm magazine.

In other words, all of my Glock 19 magazines are compatible with the Glock 26.

The 2nd Amendment is a lie. Cops often kill people just for owning a gun. Even though we legally are supposed to be allowed to have them. If you can be shot for having a gun, then you don't actually have a right to own a gun

I tried to conceal carry my Glock 19 but it was very uncomfortable.

Had to drive for 30 minutes and the barrel was digging into my leg and also I felt like I was printing very obviously.

Having a smaller gun means that its easier to conceal and it should also be more comfortable to carry.

Having a gun does have that effect. You buy one gun then later you want another.

It was literally from my uncomfortable experience of trying to carry the 19.

it was fine when I was standing up and walking around, but if I needed to sit down or bend over, it was almost impossible to do comfortably.

Yesterday I went to the gun store and held the model 26 in my hand and I immediately knew that I wanted it.

Its literally perfect. Such a small and compact little baby Glock. And the compatible aspect of the magazines from my model 19 that can all be used with the smaller model 26 is icing on the cake.

It fills a role (small gun to comfortably carry) and it is compatible with the gun that I already own (can be used with all the magazines that I already own.)

I have a Glock 44. My dad got a ton of 22LR ammo for free and said he'd give it to me. I got the glock for target shooting for fun but never really got around to actually using it.

Theres many reasons you might want to have multiple guns.

The Glock 26 is specifically for concealment (hiding it on your body so nobody knows that you have a gun.)

The Glock 19 is more ideal for a home defense gun because it has an accessory rail which you can add a weapon light. My 19 also has a red dot which makes aiming a lot easier.

So basically I would carry the 26 with me but when Im at home I would prefer to keep the 19 with me.

Both of the pistols will be used at the range.

When you go to the range and use a Desert Eagle, you make the loudest bangs, and everyone is jealous. Then the range master comes to you and makes sure it's not .50 you're shooting because CA sucks and they won't let you shoot .50s at the indoor range. Then you show him it's just .44 you're shooting and it's all good.

As much as I do enjoy Glock, my next CCW purchase is going to be a Hellcat.

Springfield got that one right.

being able to take the larger magazines is nice, but if this is going to be concealed id personally opt for the micro 9's like p365, hellcat, gx4 ect. same capacity in a better feeling package that conceals better.

I just checked out those 3 guns and pretty much all of them have a longer grip than the Glock 26.

The grip is the hardest thing to conceal when it comes to a pistol, so I think the Glock 26 is still the best option for me, especially when you consider that the magazine compatibility with my Glock 19.

I honestly wouldn't use any double-stack as a concealed carry. If it had to be a Glock, it would be something like a 43 as the slimmer frame is more comfortable to wear in the waistband.

Yeah I was going to say that it's not the most comfortable for me either and it's kinda of fat.

For me, the thickness wasnt the problem with my 19.

The issues I had:

1. Grip is too long, creates a print in my t-shirt.
2. Barrel is too long, digs into my leg when I sit down.

I dont want the 43 because the slim frame doesnt accept my Glock 19 magazines.

Having many different guns is no different then having many different tools. One for home defense, one for conceal carry, one for competition shooting, one for long range, one for short range, etc

Only you can decide when you have enough or you consider your collection complete, and do not let people shame you for being willing to keep yourself safe.

Some were justified. I use the 10mm regularly when camping/fishing, for example.

I picked up a few Colts that are just safe queens, though. Theyre gorgeous, but I probably didnt need to do that.

Interesting. There's multiple reasons I should probably own a gun, but haven't pulled the trigger. Just procrastinating.

Actually the 19 is bigger than the 26.

Both of them shoot the same caliber (9 mm).

The 19 is one of the biggest 9 mm Glocks you can buy.

The 26 is one of the smallest 9 mm Glocks you can buy.

I already have big(ish) 9 mm pistol.

I want the tiny Glock (26) to be a super compact sneaky stealth gun.
