Those overly powerful weapons that always cause tons of unintented splash damage to yourself, other characters and everything in the vicinity. But the majority of players seems to love these kind of weapons for some reason.

Big example: Fat Man from Fallout 3/New Vegas

Had some good times with Spot Goes To Hollywood. I remember it being quite difficult, but almost each level felt huge and unique. Lots of hidden stuff too, especially in the horror levels.

Everyone here has been called a troll at some point. It's CE's kneejerk reaction when they're not sure how to react to something and don't want to risk looking dumb.

It was either Fallout 1 or Betrayal in Antara. I first played their demos (and eventually full versions) around the same time.

Lose faith in humanity probably, although I've seen videos where it's much, much worse than that. Like plastic trash floating on wide rivers as far as the eye can see.

It's just one of those nonsensical things some people post because they tell themselves it's 'awesome' and 'hilarious'. Part of CE has never outgrown that phase.

I can understand that some people cannoy suppress some vocal sound wheb they sneeze, but I'm actually convinced that most overly loud sneezers (or dad-sneezers as I call them) do so just be like "hey look everyone, I exist! Isn't that just awesome and hilarious lol"

Nah, I've lived with the no-swearing rule just fine before the profanity filter was installed. Wouldn't be a problem for me to go back, as long as we can still censor words like ****ing this, and use substitute words like 'deed' instead of 'fap'.

I'd probably leave completely if they'd actually close down CE though. I barely visit the other boards these days, especially since the boards for games I like are mostly (as good as) dead.

I don't care for posts that try to compare a specific microcosm to the "great many injustices of our broken society" and try to render the debate irrelevant.

It's a relevant subject for the place we are in right now. Getting uppity about how ineffectual the debate is misses the point. It's about what goes on here, not out there.

That doesn't really help support the point. It's like saying "I don't like the way the topics are listed, therefor GameFAQs should change it!"

I'd get it if you don't like hornyposting and there'd be hornyposting topics that don't give it away, and you'd only find out once you enter it and see the pics. But that almost never the case, is it? If you don't like the subject matter of a topic, just don't click it. It really is that simple.

I bet the people who actually tell themselves they get 'upset' at hornyposting are the same kind of people who make a fuss of nothingburgers like 'necrobumping'. Touch grass already, friend. There's actually a lot of stuff in the world to get upset about, but those two things are objectively not among them.

Not sure how much it counts, but these days whenever I play Subnautica I almost always do a vegetarian playthrough. Makes the game a little more challenging, as you have to be more resourceful and proactive when it comes to foraging.
The only times I do kill a creature is if I accidentally bump into them with a vehicle.

Enemies are either pretty easy to beat, or they're flat-out impossible to beat because you're too low-level.

Fortunately, Lonesome Road provides a good challenge where lots of enemies are very tough but not impossible to beat. Wish it had more of that.

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who have some measure of self-respect, and those who voluntarily eat spicy food.

I consider some of his music to be pretty good. Pretty eccentric guy, but that's no surprise considering it's lonely at the top, and he objectively was at the top.
He has been in awkward situations concerning minors (not just the molestation allegations but also stuff like lifting his baby child over the balcony to show off to the press), but as a rule of thumb I'll let actual judges be the literal judge of such things.

This. I believe this is the main reason it became so popular, especially considering how a lot of people who play(ed) it had not played any of the other Fallouts before.

Breaking into (semi-)public buildings. Most such buildings have sensor and/or proximity alarm systems these days, so breaking in (at least in ways you often see in fiction) undetected is pretty much impossible. And no, they aren't the cool kind with laser tripwires that you can jump around. They cover literally the entire room.

The melody verses of What's Going On by 4 Non-Blondes sound similar to Don't Worry Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin.

The characters you see in the movies are actually hyperrealistic-looking puppets.

Pretty soon you'll be longing for how things were in the good ol' days and think that supporting conservative movements will actually help with that.

It's even sillier than in DBZ, where everything happened because Piccolo couldn't shut up about the dragon balls to Radditz.

As I opened the topic my finger moved to Trunks (Future) without even looking at the opponent. Mr Satan is quite the character, but very few characters are cooler than Future Trunks imo.

Honestly, I love that movie, and not even in a 'so bad it's funny' kind of way. It definitely has its flaws, but to this day I still find it to be exciting and comedic. If anything, I kind of feel John Leguizamo (who played Luigi) shined a little more in it than Hoskins.

Then again, I never really understood the whole concept of 'so bad it's funny'. Me, I either like a movie, I don't, or I just don't care for it much.

My sister and I hold each other like that sometimes. Usually when comforting each other, or sharing in something we both feel emotional about, like a song or a scene from a movie. Granted, it's relevant to say I consider her to be one of my closest friends. I have the same with other close female friends.

Freaking love the Ginyu Force. Jeice was always my favorite, but at least he lost fair and square against Vegeta, whereas Vegeta killed the others when they were either caught off-guard or already KO'd.
