Not sure why the 'blood and raw' look would put people off (assuming they're not vegetarian/vegan), knowing that it's perfectly edible, not to mention tastier than fully cooked.
Also the fact that it's not really blood, which people have a tough time getting through their heads no matter how many times you tell them.
