Apparently overpopulation won't be an issue. They say that the population will cap off at 10 billion by the end of the century.

Wonder what the environmental circumstances and living conditions will be like by then compared to now.

Redistribution of resources is not a realistic scenario. In fact, it's little more than a utopic hypothetical. All you have to do is look at how there has been scientific consensus of humanity's environmental strain on the world for decades now and at the average consumption of resources in first-world countries.
Although environmentally sustainable steps are being taken by some governments, there is still so much political and societal opposition that progress is just too slow to actually make a sufficient transition to a circular economy.

If that is already too much to ask of humanity, how do you expect first-world countries to just consume less AND redistribute it in such a way that everyone in the world can live healthy lives in a sustainable manner, when so many maintain the attitude "I'm gonna do whatever the fuck I want, vrrroooom vrrroooom!"

I wish a solution would be as straightforward and idyllic as redistribution of resources, but that is simply not in humanity's nature. It is wishful thinking at best.

At this rate the trial will take place many, many years after even Trump has died of old age (after having served a full second term as POTUS of course). Even if he miraculously is posthumously sentenced guilty, there is of course absolutely nothing that is done about it, not even preventive measures to stop this kind of insanity from happening again.

Assuming we're talking about Murrican cops, no. Completely overhaul police training and culture first, put much more emphasis on de-escalation, try it out for several years, and then consider phasing out civilian gun possession before banning it.

(Yes, I know literally none of this will ever happen)

It was one of the most talked about games last year when the remaster came out.

Also, replaying ME3 these days, especially the remastered, has changed a lot of people's views on it from what I have seen.

I think ME3 got a similar reaction as MGS2 in the sense that everyone initially ree'd at it for one very specific (and not even experience-breaking) detail, but later came to turn around like "you know, this is actually a really good game!"

Personally I feel that the ME3 ending gets more hate than it deserves. The ending upon initial release felt hastily abrupt and unsatisfying. The extended ending that was released later made it 'good enough' imo.
People who complain about 'not seeing the result of your actions you made throughout the series' must have been skipping/sleeping throughout the game, because that's when most of the arcs are concluded (like the genophage and Quarians vs Geth).
A lot of complaints are also about how the game insinuates there are better options than Destroy because "game told me Reapers bad, so I destroy Reapers, the end." There is however a ton of building up throughout the series about the coexistence of biological and synthetic sentients and the cycle of destruction it eventually leads to. According to the series' logic, destroying the Reapers would not break this cycle, whereas the Control and Synthesis endings do (or are at least significantly more likely to).

If that is too complicated, just settle for: the Destroy option also destroys ED-E and all the Geth, so maybe you'd feel bad about that.

About the MGS3 ghosts...
You have to walk up a river and meet the ghosts of everyone you have killed. They cant attack you, but it will take a while if you have killed many.

They do try to grab you, though that doesnt really matter since the point of that sequence is to die (and then revive yourself)anyway.

In Fallout 1, if you take too long to finish the main quests, (aside from getting several bad endings) the super mutants invade Necropolis and instead of having to get past a handful of mutants, they will be all over the place.

Nothing that I'm completely unable to play, but Subnautica took me a long time to finish due to the sheer terror of it lol.

Oh man, I remember during my first Subnautica playthrough when I was first exploring the Crash Site (where the water is somewhat murkier), and got to a place where the seafloor descended so deeply that I couldn't see it anymore. Meanwhile my pad told me that life readings in this area are sparse. I hadn't even encountered a Reaper Leviathan yet at that point, but I just experienced such nerve-wracking dread that I just had to stop playing then and there.

That's when I learned thalassophobia is a thing.

As I kid I already enjoyed the Resident Evil games, even if I was easily scared by everything. But jfc, those spiders were just too much. As if they weren't horrifying enough on their own, for some reason they have to release a whole batch of tiny spiders when they die.

I remember when playing the first RE game, I had learned the areas where the all the spiders were, and managed to completely avoid them, which is actually possible except for the boss spider in the cave. I remember the first time I defeated it:
I had read a walkthrough beforehand, so I knew it was going to be there. I used a hex editor to give myself a rocket launcher, entered the room, fired it at the spider while looking away as much as possible, then immediately turning around and exiting the room because of the little spideres, and finally re-entering.

Gods, I was pathetic

Bespin wasn't part of the Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance. Technically they were an independent neutral faction that traded tibanna gas, but small enough that once the Empire had reason to go there, the Empire could barge in and tell them what's what.

Considering that, Vader was actually being pretty douchey to Lando, but that kinda explains why the Empire didn't come in guns blazing, and why Lando initially cooperated, hoping the Empire would just leave them alone afterward.

The fact that 'your dad' jokes don't work the way 'your mom' jokes do is tied to the way people in general still think women are supposed to be pure and chaste, whereas men can do and be whatever.
That's why no one will actually get upset about a 'your dad' joke, but plenty of people will explode into anger if someone makes a 'your mom' joke at them.
