You're just a swordsman with some rolling and minor magic abilities -- you're not doing juggling combos like Dante or anything. It's more than serviceable and actually can be kinda fun, although by the end of the game, you might be somewhat tired of its limitations. (Watch Witcher 2's combat to see just how much W3's improved.) This. The combat is definitely not the highlight of the game, but its not bad. L and Mello/Near each take about half the manga, but L was so popular that when they adapted the anime they put all the focus there, giving the L arc about twice as much time as the Mello/Near arc. So it is pretty convoluted, and hard to care about the characters as much. I thought the final episode was great though, very satisfying ending --- Hello world! |
