RULES

• Every user is allowed to vote for 20 of their favorite games on a particular system
• The format will allow for one +5, two +4s, three +3s, four +2s, and ten +1s
• You don't have to use all your votes and you can distribute them in any way you like
• Almost every game on a particular system is allowed. Doesn't matter if it is a port, but compilations I'm gonna BAN
• Put multiple versions of games as a single entity (i.e. mainline Pokemon, DX versions of GB games)
• Japanese-only games are acceptable
• Standalone expansions are acceptable. Anything requiring the base game is to be included with the original title.
• Homebrew games are acceptable so long as they were made to be played on original hardware.
• ROM Hacks are NOT acceptable.
• Go by your favorites rather than gaming your votes to create more "interesting" results or whatever. I won't accept changes if I suspect this is occurring.
• If you would like to provide write-ups at all, just notify me in the topic on what games you would want to write about, and I can send you a PM if one or more of your games makes it.
• This will be open for at least a week. Might make it longer if it seems there is benefit to it. I'll probably give people 4-5 days for writeups too, unless some leeway is needed.

looking through the lists of every gc game myself, i'm pretty surprised how many of the japan-exclusives i suspect i'll be picking here. i honestly forgot how many of these i tried out untranslated lol (i just didn't spend close as much time on gamecube games as i did for any other sixth-gen systems' japan exclusives (for ones that had any and yes this includes xbox))

speaking of by the way, i guess i'll just ask now since it's absolutely going to affect my placements, pretty predictably there is ONE part of Nintendo Puzzle Collection i really like (spoilers it's the panel de pon sequel originally meant to be for the n64 who'd have thought), so does it have to get grouped with the other two simply as Nintendo Puzzle Collection, or am I allowed to give a +4 or 5 probably to it on its own?

Loved how much focus the One Year War got in GC & had a brief obsession with its version of Encounters, but the larger robot models didn't feel like they moved as fluidly and the actual gameplay felt kinda bland so it's an easy cut.
