Where's the source for this lactose intolerance? I myself drink Half and Half, but I mainly enjoy it for cooking. it makes instant pudding incredible. You forgot the cream part. Seriously, it's scary how few people have tried a glass of milk with 1 spoon full of vanilla or strawberry (tillamooks for me is the best), mixed in. Soy (or pea) really is the only suitable alternative to dairy. Oat and almond milk are essentially expensive sugar water (almond being water intensive and diluted sugar water) devoid of any real nutrition. One might as well be drinking soda. A long time ago when I worked at a restaurant, a customer asked for milk (which wasn't on the menu, but we carried it for kitchen prep work).
