I think the only one I haven't played is original Ruby/Sapphire because they came out during the time I was "over" Pokemon. I went straight to Emerald and never bothered playing RS. Though I did play ORAS. Same with Platinum, but I did go back and play Diamond later. I'm still not over the Pokemon bug. And it only got worse with further generations with all the terrain and GMax stuff. Tried VGC yesterday against my brother and the match got over in 5 turns LMAO. I liked the Destiny Knot addition for breeding, since that made it much more lucrative and rewarding instead of the needlessly punishing busywork of prior generations. The Mega Evolutions were great, too, and the metagame felt balanced. Then they added Z-moves with the stupidly long cutscenes and a bunch of other tweaks that made things boring, and then the GMax or w/e is so OP that battles end too quickly. Also I DID play the first hour or so of Shield at a convention but I don't really count that as anything more than a demo. It just showed that Pokemon was no longer for me... at least until Legends came out.
