Also (speculation spoilers) If this takes place three weeks after Endgame, and Far From Home was like, what, eight months(?) afterwards, that kind of throws a huge wrench into the theories that this will end with mutants being integrated with the MCU somehow. Unless they're all kept secret or something.

I'm thinking Dr. Strange 2 will start pushing towards that and this supposedly ties into that. So I guess this is sort of like a prelude to a lot of weird dimension stuff.

Yeah...this was way too much of standard MCU exposition for me. And not only exposition, but exposition that was mostly pretty obvious? I feel like the only new information was that SWORD was observing and sending stuff in, which imo does not require a whole episode. I'm hoping they really go in on the weird premise and integrate this stuff better into the next two episodes.

A bit of a bummer too because I do like Monica Rambeau but none of the characters in this episode got to do anything besides explain the plot and crack some bad jokes

It's so funny hearing the discussion her and in another forum I got to. There, a lot of them think they didn't get out of the sitcom stuff SOON enough. Personally, I think this is a great spot to unveil what's going on. We just have to see if they can keep the momentum going.

Theyre definitely doing three more sitcom episodes, but they may not exclusively be the sitcom in the way the first three are. I assume well get sitcom stuff and SWORD stuff in the same episodes moving forward.

I feel like the SWORD people should have called in one of the Avengers to help as soon as they realized Wanda was involved. Get someone who knows her to come talk to her! Some of them are probably busy being in space or whatever, but you could at least get Warmachine probably.

This would be incredible. If they started to have the Defenders show up in their new Marvel shows to set up a loose canon.

It's looking likely that Daredevil will be in Spider-Man 3 so it's not too far-fetched!

Is Cap dead? We know this takes place roughly three weeks after Endgame, I'm just not sure if it's implied Cap died right after handing Sam the shield.

I think Cap is effectively dead as in I dont think hes going to show up as an old man. But I do think it would be fun to see an old man super soldier Cap beat up a bunch of mooks or something.

I meant more as a contact for Wanda if they were going to call in an Avenger for help. He would be the best one to make contact with her.

I dunno, I feel like Hawkeye would be a much better choice, she had more of a bond with him than Cap.

Yea, I suppose he'd be a pretty good one. Though i assume after Endgame he'd be a lot more hesitant to get involved after getting his family back.

She's also very well aware that Vision is dead and that none of this is real. But I will say it probably makes more sense that she has come to terms with Pietro's death by now than she has with Vision's.

I'm not really familiar with Vision and Wanda outside of this show but I heard somebody say that Vision doesn't have superspeed normally, so following that she must be putting aspects of her brother onto him? Could be setup for him returning. I'd be fine with that but as far as other Avengers go I would rather as little outside guest stuff as possible, just keep it to Wanda/Vision's POV inside the illusion.

So, I just watched Avengers Infinity War again last night (after catching up on WandaVision) and I had never realized how traumatizing this must have been for Wanda.

At the end of Infinity War, she had to watch Vision die TWICE - first she had to kill him and then Thanos rewound time and killed him again right in front of her. And then moments later she got snapped out of existence. So, essentially, WandaVision takes place about 3 weeks after she experienced that. So the wounds are still incredibly fresh.

So, with that in context, (and as someone who has seen all of the movies and read none of the comic books), I REALLY like what they have done with the show so far. I had no idea what to expect from the wacky sitcom concept. The whole idea seemed disconnected and weird - like it was it's own random spinoff show. But seeing how the sitcom actually is connected to the rest of the MCU makes it considerably better to me.

I do agree that it feels a little early to reveal this fully how the show is connected to the outside world ( they could have probably continued with the subtle hints for another episode or two), but I suppose they need to start steering the show towards its resolution. I am really looking forward to seeing how they resolve things.

Show is great, but I can't read this topic because you guys probably post a ton of spoilers.

Episode 4 was by far my favorite! Enjoying everything play out right now

I won't even watch trailers for stuff like this, I'm completely blind on everything. I didn't even know that Kat Dannings was going to appear in an episode, and seeing her was a complete surprise and also awesome.

My buddy told me he know for 2 years. I tried going into a topic like this once and people were dissecting the trailer to try to figure out what is going to happen - just too much risk for me! Still a great show, I may poke my head back here if I'm feeling brave. :)

Good episode.

Oddly enough my favorite part was probably Jimmy Woo busting out the card trick when he first shows up. Just a nice continuity nod that shows he's been studying up in the five years since the snap, assuming he wasn't snapped and it seems like he wasn't.

Also, another interesting thing to note about the episode.

The S.W.O.R.D./FBI team successfully managed to identify most (if not all) of the Westview "residents" we've met up until now (the named characters, anyway), except Agnes...
