Wanda distraught over Visions death, has created a world to live out what she dreams a normal middle class life with Vision would be. Everyone else inside is trapped against their will, and the outside world is trying to figure out what's happening (maybe some sort of a dome appeared around a town or something). When the government sends things in, like a drone or a guy in a hazmat suit, they get transformed into things that should exist in the world like the toy copter or the beekeeper. The only question I have is if this is all purposeful by her or if some is being done subconsciously, and if the people inside are actually living people who were trapped or also creations of hers,

Really curious to see if the next episode has an in-universe commercial and if so, what it is.

The first one was the Stark toaster, and the second the Strucker/Hydra watch. Both are reminders of past traumas for Wanda; the Stark weapon that set her and her brother on their path, and Strucker/Hydra's experiments granting them their powers. If that's the theme I could see the next one being Ultron related or tied to Pietro's death.

I do wonder if Aaron Taylor-Johnson is gonna cameo in this. It'd be a shame if he doesn't. I haven't looked up any cast info though, so the only cameo I know of so far is Kat Dennings for some weird reason.

That stutter thing when Vision forgot the discrepancies of the world they're in was well done. I like how it looked like a streaming error.

I also liked the references to how tv shows try to hide actress pregnancies.

At first I thought Wanda was trapped in this world or wasn't clearly aware of what was happening, but now she's being a lot more disturbing and it looks like she has much more control over things than I assumed and I can't wait to see where it goes. I also wasn't sure if the world they were in was some kind of parallel world or something, but it looks more like it's an actual place that's being warped by magic.

I don't quite know why "Geraldine" was wearing a pendant that blows her cover so badly, but maybe there'll be an actual reason. Otherwise it just feels like a kinda dumb way to move the plot forward.

Edit: That can't work, I just remembered they show the SWORD logo on the monitoring scenes.

Best season of AoS!

I don't really care about the MCU and this is the first thing I've watched in that world in years, but it's pretty good so far. Olsen is great (and I will never not enjoy Kathryn Hahn), I just hope it doesn't lose its uniqueness by shifting more into ongoing MCU plots or whatever. I was hoping (ep 3 spoils) it would stay in this illusory world the whole time, the last minute was unnecessary imo. The ending would have worked better with Geraldine just vanishing and Wanda being creepy.

Good episode, but definitely my least favorite of the ones already out.

I just didn't find it as funny as the first two. Probably because Agnes was barely in it. And I didn't enjoy the pregnancy shenanigans much.

Only interesting part was, obviously, the Wanda/Geraldine moment when she mentions Pietro.

This episode gave me a weird feeling

It doesn't feel like the slow burn of the meta-plot is working all that well for me. 3 eps in and it still feels a little too basic. I wish the "sitcom" and "real" plots were a bit more integrated with each other instead of being in conflict. I like the premise, but the more disjointed it gets the more it feels like they're treating the sitcom aspect as filler and it really shouldn't be like that.

also did they really get the mom from That 70s Show and then not put her in the 70s episode? smh.

My favorite part was probably the very beginning. I want as much snap / unsnap aftermath content as I can get.

was Kat Denningss character always super smart? I thought she was a journalist or something but I have put most of the first two Thors out of my brain now so I dont really remember.

Looking back on her character, she was a political science major, but it seems she changed her major after the events of Thor.

Since her mom was a pilot I assumed 'Photon' was a callsign and if Monica ever becomes superpowered she'll take the name as a nod to her mom.

also, nice easter eggs in the fake credits of the '70s episode. leeann patrick is the post-production coordinator of wandavision, chikako suzuki is the art director, and amanda weir worked in post-production on the live-action jungle book and a wrinkle in time (she wasn't involved with wandavision, though).

Eh, I started watching this cos I don't really care for the MCU and it looked interesting and different, so this week's was very disappointing for me. Back to the same old bland dialogue and cinematography that bored me away from the universe years ago, and removing pretty much all of the intrigue and mystery around the events at all. I'll see how it goes from here but this doesn't set my hopes high. Of course the show is probably aimed at MCU diehards so I'm not the target audience, but eh. Also the cast seems much more amateurish without Olsen/Bettany/Hahn around.

I love seeing more snap-related stuff.

I liked the touch of the missing people being referred to as playing the part of the cast.

Seeing Monica sent flying out of Westview was fucking awesome.

But yeah, I can kind of agree that this wasn't as interesting as the sitcom-based episodes. Once the fact that S.W.O.R.D. was observing them and not sure what was going on, and that Wanda knows what's happening was confirmed there really wasn't much else use to the episode. And unfortunately Kat Dennings was not a great episode lead.
