Just another day in America, where the people that are assigned to protect us poop in their diapers after seeing a running black man. Incoming paid suspension, no murder conviction.

I have a question for any resident CE police. Is it required to wear pampers on the job? Do you people sleep with night lights and a blankie? Why do you people get afraid so easily when you have body armor, a gun, and "professional" training? Why would you want a job like that if you piss yourself because tiny girls hold signs in your face?

it's not that they're afraid, it's that they know that they can just shoot poor people for no reason, tell juries "i was scared" even though it was a homeless man in a wheelchair, and get zero punishment. if they do get punished, they lose their job, get the conviction overturned, change cities, and collect PTSD money or some other BS

According to the police report, 2 officers tried placing Rayshard Brooks under arrest -- after they say he failed field sobriety testing. In the video, you can see the officers wrestling with Rayshard on the ground for nearly 30 seconds.

When Rayshard stood up, cops say he had taken a taser from one of the officers -- the other cop opened fire with his taser, and Rayshard started running away. Both cops started chasing him from behind ... and within seconds 3 shots were fired at Rayhsard.

Knew there was something off about this story, fair next

Read the article, it was justified. People see taglines and act like he was shot unprovoked. He was heavily drunk in a drive thru, resisting heavily and stoke a cops taser, trying to use it against them. What are they supposed to do, just let a criminal do whatever they want to, even use weapons against them? Should we ignore crimes because the criminal happens to be black?

1) is it me or they have been doubling down on this shit since the protests? I think theyre giving a message: protest what you want, I dont give a fuck.

I don't agree with the term this guys used, but this shot clears show them trying to choke him. After so many people have literally been choked to death by the police this guy assumed he was about to be murdered .

It's actually explicitly illegal unless the person is armed or has committed a violent crime, or they have hard evidence they intend to. The Supreme Court was extremely clear on that.

I don't justify what the cops did here but just to clarify something that was said earlier in the topic: sleeping in your car intoxicated in some states is indeed a crime. it's a stupid law, but i'm just stating facts. obviously nobody should get shot for it.

They guy was asleep in his car in the middle of a drive thru. That is usually a strong bet that he was drunk.

A few cops should be able to handle a passed out drunk dude without shooting and killing him.

They shot him in the back. People who are real immediate threats tend not to face the opposite direction of their target.

Oh boy I wonder how this will effect the current state of civil unrest. It is almost like the people who are supposed to protect us contribute heavily to this.

Yeah this and he was asleep in a drive thru lane that he was obviously blocking.

Can't really say he was only sleeping in a parked car when he was in a drive thru lane.

I also agree that it doesn't justify the killing. Cops are still very much at fault for shooting a guy in the back.

He wasn't a danger to the public, so he constituted no threat to public safety. He wasn't going to go around tasing people.
Attacking officers and stealing a taser is monumentally stupid, but does not warrant killing.
He would have to run, and could be pursued, and eventually successfully tased.

He would then face additional charges for assaulting an officer and presumably theft.
Instead they decided to shoot a fleeing man in the back.
The choice of cowards without honor.

The cops are idiots for letting a suspect steal their weapon. Also if a suspect is running away they should never be shot at with very few exceptions. This guy wasn't a murderous psychopath so he should have never been shot at.
