It's absurd, especially in Charlie Kirk's case, because he regularly advocated for violence as the answer, and he was particularly nasty and smarmy about it. Also, he was an American, in America, advocating for American values, and America is founded on (and sustains itself on) far worse and even more senseless violence. The same applies to all the people in the media dribbling crocodile tears over this. How many sincere tears have they shed for the men, women and children that Charlie Kirk tried to justify the deaths of? Also, we don't know the motives of the killer, or who he/she is, making it all just a little extra asinine.
"Violence is not the answer" from these people is meaningless, hypocritical, spoony virtue signaling blather. Everyone should be telling politicians and media figures to shut up whenever they fake cry like this.
