eh, it's a matter of interpretation but that's not how i took it. the interviewer said "SOME PEOPLE SAY THAT YOU'VE HURT HILLARY CLINTON'S CHANCES" and bernie responded with "well, some people say i would have been the nominee if the system wasn't rigged." i think what he's implying is "'some people' often say stuff that you would agree is wrong - why should we give credibility to what random, unnamed people say?" or maybe "why do you only care about what 'some people' say when it makes me look bad?" if he'd just made the statement out of the blue rather than as a response to a question, i would agree that he's implying that the people he's talking about are right. but in the context of the interview, not so much.

i'm unsurprised that LotM interpreted bernie's statement the way he did, though.

Or, the hospitals could cut their rates. That would require paying doctors, nurses, pharma companies, suppliers, etc. less. And maybe in turn, making the cost of medical school lower and opening more medical schools.

I like the plan to make America a leader in green energy and to be protectionist about it. I am kind of ambivalent about Warren blaming everything on the corporations though. We should understand that the problem with big corporations in our country isn't bad actors on the boards of these corporations - it is structural, a system that incentivizes legal corruption. Wield the anti-trust laws bigly, don't regulate too much.
