I don't know if I can stomach another round of this tomorrow. This was terrifying and painful. Like Hillary was awful but she herself never felt like a major threat to the American people, only her supporters did.

I would feel safe with Warren, Gabbard, and Klobuchar, and maybe Ryan. Was impressed with Warren, thought she was a very good speaker. But man this field and this format.......

Gabbard destroyed Ryan today so badly he should probably drop out of the race.

Warren did not do as well as I was hoping! I thought she had a good first half of the debate or so but she sort of tailed off there towards the end. Gabbard was surprisingly good and I hope she sticks around to put the knife in more bottom tier candidates when they say dumb stuff.

He gave a bad answer about the war in Afghanistan and she dunked on him. Then he gave an even worse answer where it sounded like he thought the Taliban was behind 9/11 (I honestly doubt he's that dumb and likely just jumbled up his words, but it definitely sounded like it) and she double dunked on him.

For me watcing the debate...obviously I already like Elizabeth Warren and, hey, her answers were good.

Among candidates I don't already have a strong opinion on though, I was impressed by Bill de Blazio, though. His answers also seemed quite good.

Booker, Gabbard, and O'Rourke are known quantities to me that I have mildly negative views on for various reasons based on my research.

Castro I haven't researched at all. His answers seemed fine, but he kind-of rubbed me the wrong way; hard to put my finger on it.

The other four not leaving much of an impression so far.

The Supreme Court just ruled that partisan gerrymandering is a non-justiciable political question and the courts may not disturb the decisions of the state legislatures in drawing districts to favor some parties over others. 5-4.

I think we all expected this, but it's good to see nonetheless. No punting, no reservations, but a solid rule defending the right of the people to gerrymander.
