(using it as a defensive argument as a possibility that these people may be right), eh, it's a matter of interpretation but that's not how i took it. the interviewer said "SOME PEOPLE SAY THAT YOU'VE HURT HILLARY CLINTON'S CHANCES" and bernie responded with "well, some people say i would have been the nominee if the system wasn't rigged." i think what he's implying is "'some people' often say stuff that you would agree is wrong - why should we give credibility to what random, unnamed people say?" or maybe "why do you only care about what 'some people' say when it makes me look bad?" if he'd just made the statement out of the blue rather than as a response to a question, i would agree that he's implying that the people he's talking about are right. but in the context of the interview, not so much. i'm unsurprised that LotM interpreted bernie's statement the way he did, though. --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
