He's still strong. Bowser is just also strong. He's probably in at least the top 15 characters. There's no shame in a sort of close loss to Bowser.

I think Kirby is just one of those characters who blows out lesser characters and then doesn't sustain that against actual opposition. Kind of like Mega Man

Bowser has shown nothing in the past 10 fucking years to suggest he has any sort of strength.

I think the low Votals of Gfaqs in general just makes these guys weaker/stonger than they were in the past.

Kirby's strengths solely comes from Smash Now. His games are medciore or good but niche these days.

Ok, it's done now. My bracket is officially screwed now, rather than just being terminal. Hopefully Kirby keeps it within a few %, but no way he comes back. Bowsette is just too strong.

Alucard performance is insane
I mean, it can be Red sucking too, but that would create a massive chain reaction of a lot of characters being weak as well

Guile is trash (unproven newcomer)
Isaac is trash (irrelevant character not playable in Smash)
Phoenix and Ike are trash / Phoenix was SFF'd

Gordon is bad but not THAT THAT THAT bad
2B, Ness, Shadow, Charizard and Terra are not trash

Bowser has faced Seph and Sonic and has performed relatively worse than them too for what it's worth. Granted to be fair Seph was stronger when Bowser faced him but Sonic wasn't really

We've only had two character battles in "the last ten fucking years". In one of those, he won a division and then fell victim to a release date match. In the other, he made the division finals and got caught up behind a Noble Niner and a rally target of our making. Also I guess technically there was another contest, something involving rivalries? Mario/Bowser was runner-up in that, and the theory that rivalries' strengths would be determined solely by the stronger character was proven wrong so that is a point in Bowser's favor.

So let me explain why I thought Bowser > Kirby was obvious and feel free to mock me if Kirby comes back.

1: We have already seen this match.

2: Luigi also beat Kirby.

3: It's Nintendo VS Nintendo, stats will just confuse you. See Mario VS Samus in 2005.

4: Most Nintendofans likes the Mario franchise a lot more than the Kirby franchise. And Bowser is actually very popular as a villain. S

5: Bowsette.

Everytime a pokemon has done well in these contests bar PIkachu(who is the only one with consisent strength) its been due to joke votes. Squirtle and jigglypuff come to mind

Ness really benefits from low votals and a small post-Undertale/LISA bump with those two games shining a bright light on Earthbound for the whole world. . Its not hard to see why Ness wins by that much. Fire Emblem was never worth too much. Smash is all Ike has going for him compared to Ness. To compare with another series character, Lucina at least has a tiny bump from FatesWakening being more well known compared to PoR/RD outside of the FE fandom. I am confident that Lucina > Ike 1v1 based on that alone even if it makes you raise an eyebrow.

If Red is cutting now, can Alucard lose the match?

If this is true then why the whole crew picked Kirby? There has to be something else.
