Man, look a like I flipped the wrong pick in Oracle. Had Bowser and Red. Decided to flip one of them since majority went the opposite so flipped the Kirby pick. Welp.

For all the hype, Bowser/Kirby is going the exact same way of Auron/Sub-Zero. Kind of disappointing? Its only five minutes in though.

12 people fell off the Top 50. ecksgem, startme_up, FFIXOwner, HBJDubs, Tekashi69, SuperLameDog, NLMagic, Brandalia, Ranticoot, paulg235, Amyson and CaptainOfCrush did not have Ganondorf and Pikachu winning yesterday.

Let's not rewrite the past, plenty of people believed the rallies could be stopped.
For Draven, everyone expected MMX and Ryu would defeat Draven before the match.
And if people had no hope, Link would never have done that well , and Draven wouldn't have needed a sticky to finish off Snake.

And in the 2015 contest, it was the same, people expected Fallout to defeat Undertale;
After Fallout lost, according to a poll back then, 74% thought it could be beaten (and at that point, Melee hadn't rallied yet).
At one point during the Pokemon match, everyone called Undertale dead.
And of course, people called Undertale dead when Melee took the lead for 3 updates. (that was a ridiculous overreaction though).
For the OOT final however, hope was truly dead.

The Melee match was the only match undertale had a shot at losing. Melees rallying didn't last long enough otherwise Undertale was toast.

Pokemon had a better chance I think. Undertale started really really late against Pokemon.
Against Melee, the rally was in full swing from the beginning which mean every Melee increase was matched by an Undertale increase. Melee couldn't reach Undertale's ceiling so the only hope would have been if it started too late.

Actually, Melee did rally in its round 2 match. Even though it was already en route to a 55-45 win. Turned out into a 60-40.

I'm going to officially call it now: this match is the biggest case of rSFF we've ever seen. Kirby did nothing but wreck everyone on his way here. Bowser had some good performances but nothing like what Kirby busted out. If you assume that Bowser=Kirby, Ness gets like 60% on Ike.

But Kirby is lower on the Nintendo totem pole than Mario, and Nintendo fans Fall. In. Line.

People are going too much based on statistics, especially using Bowser's performance against 2B, an UNUSED character who for all we know is the new KOSMOS, a strong underrated character from a game that's actually well liked on this site but not given credit since she's not Nintendo/Square/Metal Gear

Nier: Automata might not be developed by Square Enix, but it was published by Square Enix. I assume a lot of people assume that a game is only considered "Square" if the game was developed by them.

I think Kirby is just one of those characters who blows out lesser characters and then doesn't sustain that against actual opposition. Kind of like Mega Man

Especially after what Tifa did yesterday. That Night/Euroep vote alone is enough to give Cloud a dominant win. Even in US Alucard doesn't get anythign above 45 on Cloud

and with these "low" votals. Cloud could very well be his "2003" Self. I.e Uber Strong
