Hours after Colin Kaepernick was announced as the face of NIKE's new "Just Do It" campaign, Trump Supporters and Conservative crybabies alike started BURNING their Nike apparel in protest!!

Clips of ugly men showed them setting their shoes and clothes on FIRE while others cut up their socks!

John Rich from Big & Rich said his soundman,a former marine had cut up his ike socks as Veterans organization "Vote Vets" urged critics to donate their items rather than burn them

Sean Clancy posted a video of him burning his nike shoes who said "First the NFL forces me to choose between my favourite sport and my country. I chose country. Then Nike forces me to choose between my favourite shoes and my country. Since when did the American Flag and the National become offensive?"

David Johnston shared a video of his Nike Wristband with a fire captioned "This is how i feel about Nike selecting Colin Kaepernick as the new face of the company's 'just do it campaign'

AlteratYeshiva also posted a video of him burning his Nike sneakers

The National Association of Police Organizations representing 241,000 members and families are also BOYCOTTING Nike who said Nike is grossly INSULTING the men and women who sacrifice their lives for the "nation"

Nike's decision to pick Colin, the first NFL player to kneel during the national anthem as protest against racism has drawn ire against President Trump AND his supporters.

Nike said "Colin has been a Nike athlete since 2011. Colin is one of the number of athletes being featured as part of our 30th anniversay just do it campaign".

It also featured Serena Williams entitled "Voice of Belief" as well as NY Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, skateboarder Lacey Baker, Seattle Seahawks Shaquem Griffin.

Gino Fisanotti, vice president of North America operations said "We believe Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward"

Do you think these Trump Supporters are morons?

So basically it's a guy who did something in the past, went to prison for it, and stopped doing it versus a guy who is *still* doing his thing? After all, it's not like Nike picked up Vick when he was fighting off his dog ring allegations. Plus, you know, Michael Vick was a much better player.

He's protesting the nation because he's attacking a symbol of the nation. If he's specifically protesting something else, he should go about in a different way especially since the national government isn't directly involved in the enforcement he's supposedly protesting. I'd draw a parallel or make a metaphor, but it's hard to make his ridiculous actions seem any stupider.

The In-n-Out one is far more ridiculous because it doesn't directly involve a controversial figure and is instead just protesting the notion of giving donations.

Nike has people working for pennies a day in slum conditions making multiple pairs of shoes that sell for hundreds of dollars despite being made of a few dollars of material, nobody gives a shit.

Nike picks a guy who thinks police disproportionately target black people in USA (an observable fact) to be in their advertisements, people lose their minds.

Because the black person is more likely to have commited the crime. Unfortunately there are racial communities of black people who partake in crime, this means that a higher proportion of black people commit crimes than white people, this means it's statistically supported to suspect black people more.

Yeah, that's called racism. Race based prejudice. That combined with the fact that none of the drug arrests should even be happening in the first place, which means the ends don't justify the means.

Then they get the longer sentences.

I got a fact sheet here. I don't think you can hit every one of them down.

Point being, blacks are still fucked over more.

And if it makes you feel any better (for some reason), it might not be personal racism screwing them over these as much as it is class warfare.

Black people don't partake in more crime, they're just charged more often when whites may be let off with a warning.

There's also the fact that the crime rate is higher for black people because of the communities they were forced to live in. In the 70's and below(it's also happening nowadays, but not as often), black people were getting rejected from buying and renting in the suburbs and other communities with lower crime rates and nicer living qualities. As the white people got richer from equity of their homes in the suburbs and all that, the income inequality grew and black people got pretty much screwed, as they were forced to grow in the ghetto.

So yeah, black people have been screwed over and have been fighting an uphill battle because of the racist bullshit they've been put through, and racists keep wanting to blame them for everything.

Trump supporters much like Reagan supporters vote against their own economic interests without realizing it. Blue collar union workers voted overwhelmingly for Reagan and what soon followed was Reagan's all assault on labor unions and blue collar workers.

The Big 3 automakers started shuttling plants and laying people off especially in Michigan in the wake of record breaking profits and the steel industry soon followed and 75% of those people had voted Red and Reagan.

I can't think of anything that the GOP since Reagan has done that has helped working families and if anyone knows anything they have done, please correct me.

So yeah, black people have been screwed over and have been fighting an uphill battle because of the racist bullshit they've been put through, and racists keep wanting to blame them for everything.

They got in the starting position from racism, but judging by the success of say Asians or Jews in America, they're entirely responsible for the crime and failure today.

Statistically black people are doing really badly as a race compared to others in similar circumstances. Probably should do something about the racial subcultures dragging all the other decent people down.

So basically it's a guy who did something in the past, went to prison for it, and stopped doing it versus a guy who is *still* doing his thing?

Except that one of those things was a series of actual, serious crimes, while the other is a guy kneeling down for a minute or so each game while a bunch of fragile republicans get their panties in a knot over somebody making a political statement they don't like. Equivocating them like that is pretty disingenuous. You can say that it isn't really a relevant thing to bring up because the other guy's already done his time and repented, but you really, really shouldn't even try to put them on the same level.

Not weed.

Charges increase because arrests are done with good suspicion. Arrests further increase as they are more successfully found guilty.

Looking at the color of somebody's skin isn't a "good" suspicion.
