Blue collar union workers voted overwhelmingly for Reagan and what soon followed was Reagan's all assault on labor unions and blue collar workers. The Big 3 automakers started shuttling plants and laying people off especially in Michigan in the wake of record breaking profits and the steel industry soon followed and 75% of those people had voted Red and Reagan. I can't think of anything that the GOP since Reagan has done that has helped working families and if anyone knows anything they have done, please correct me. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
