I beat the first two levels. They don't have the multiple lives of ELT so just run then quick.

My Rikku is still not up to par, though, so i'll leave ELT for later.

Just beat Aigaion or however you spell it ELT on my first try. Holy %}^]*] that was amazing. Didn't get the no magic reward because WoL kept having to revive King at various points, but I don't care.

Rikku with Siren (6220 HP): Override, Dragon Shield, Soul Crown, Assassins Vest, Muscle Belt, Germinas Boots. Melody of Life, Renewal, Imperial Helm, Mog Wisdom
WoL with Titan (8471 HP): Gigantaxe, Hero's Shield, Survivor Helm, Dragon Mail, Rikku's Pouch, Vitailty Apparatus, HP 15% x 4
Fryevia with Ramuh (949 Mag): Enhancer, Fryevia's Needle, Cat-ear Hood, Rainbow Robe, Genji Glove, Magistral Crest, 4x Letters and Arms
Tilith with Lakshmi (5618 HP): Army Shield, Whitebrim, Tabby Suit, Arsha's Talisman, Ribbon, Equip L Shield, Water God's Protction, HP 15%, Mog Rise
King with Odin, anything to boost attack above 500
Friend Fryevia with Machine killer and 960 Mag

Took over an hour, went for the body first since 2 Fryevia's can outpace the 500k restore pretty easily. The thresholds were pretty bad, but Rikku's limit and having her do water damage was a huge help. Actually had a harder time after the body was dead, before the right arm was gone.

Yeah, 2x Fry or 2x Aileen seems like it works fine here. 2x Orlandeau is a lot rougher, though I may give it a shot with Ace to slap him with 75% light imperil before chaining. That might be enough.

How are you going to handle the left arm? Unless you can fire off Rikku's limit every round that could turn ugly fast.

So far I've only seen Fryevia's be able to complete it on the ffbe board.

I'll probably have to use sub-par Orlandeaus and jack up the attack on a King to tank the hit every turn.

I could also probably just use non-elemental weapons instead of Excalibur, I guess.

Tilith alone worked for my MP Battery, so Ramza might not even be necessary. All Tilith needed was one MP item and she was fine.

Or should I swap WoL for Ling since I don't really need a tank for the trial?

WoL was incredibly useful. I used him for tanking quite a bit, and his raise was really helpful for when King got reraised and killed again in the same turn.

Yeah there's a few that can do it. I think King just has an easier time running up his ATK to get targeted because he has innate duel wield (for guns). His auto-res is a lot cheaper than Maxwell's too, MP-wise, but it's weaker.

You don't need a very good auto-res for the trial, since the units entire purpose is just to get killed.

Yeah, but you can run into a situation with King, if his HP isn't high enough, gets killed by the arm, auto-resurrects, then then gets killed again in subsequent attacks because his res is only 50%.

I think I saw people on Reddit mention that happened.

Just a note if you use Fryevia to clear the robot trial: If you do, it doesn't count. Fryevia is too powerful and using her is cheating (according to the FFBE board).

Amazing how double Orlandeau chaining wasn't cheating, but now that another unit has clearly surpassed him in the eyes of most of the community, it's suddenly unfair to use that unit. The double standards on these people are astounding.

That's why I've come to really appreciate having Zargabaath. Him and Tilith have done wonders for keeping my MP topped up in the few long fights I've tried, and I'm pretty sure it's sustainable for much longer fights. Granted that's two units whose turns are taken up with healing, but in-between Zarg has a ton of stuff he can do, as opposed to running two healers that would otherwise be redundant. Kind of why I'm a bit blah about having Ashe now; I pulled hard for her, but now that I have her...I realize I really didn't have to.

So for those people who have regular work schedules, how do you burn through your stamina effectively through the day? I can tell events eat up a lot in pretty good chunks, and obviously it gets easier as one ranks up and gets more of a buffer for empty stamina, but I'm still curious. I'm in a much more public office space now, so tapping my phone for TMR farming is probably out, and story and key hunting take too much time and focus to do on small breaks.

Usually I set up auto TM grinding during the work day on my computer at home.

That's when I particularly care about maximizing stamina use. Usually I'll just use up a decent amount of energy before I go to work and not really worry about it.

Tidus is there for Get Pumped! (Buffs to everybody), Blitz Mania (really low MP regen + 100% Water buff + chaining?)
Ashe is going to be the chainer/Tilith Healer

But then I thought... what about WoL? Or Bartz?

And hell, I don't know which friend unit to choose to be my sole DPS for the party. Fryevia? Rem? Ace? Uuugggghhhhhh

Also not sure who to slap Bushido Freedom on. Probably Tidus

If you're only bringing one DPS, Rem or Ace might be a better choice than Fryevia, since she'll need someone to chain with to really build it up. While I haven't tested it, Rem might be able to do more with Dagger Boomerang, and can also pitch in with reraises or heals if needed.

I'm trying it right now with Rikku / Wilhelm / Tilith / Maxwell / Fryevia / Fryevia . I think my biggest issue is MP usage, I'm not sure if I can sustain this. I think I'm not chaining the Fryevia right because I'm not doing a lot of damage.
