I got Dark Knight's Soul today... honestly I'm not too impressed with it on Tidus but it does free up some stuff for other character so it's cool. May as well start grinding up Aqua Blade now.

It's the same as combining with large sword master or katana, with the exception you have to remember to only use heavy armor. (And generally weaker weapons.)

The problem I have with committing to Awakening abilities is that I just never seem to use any units outside my core stuff.

Fryevia
Elza
Tilith
Minfilia
Rikku
Cecil
Warrior of Light
Noctis
Amelia

I have Awaken+2 Elza's Ravaging Blow, but nothing else. I have Ace, who I've considered possibly replacing ExDeath for some Chain Capping, but I don't really see it being worthwhile in the long run to awaken his abilities considering I only use ExDeath in Raids, and he's not even that necessary. Those 10 above haven't really ever felt like their positions in any of my teams have been compromised.

Plenty of abilities to awaken, just not seeing a reason to if I don't use the unit.

It would be foolish not to awaken Ace given his enhanced kit. (-75% holy/fire/thunder imperil on top of potential raw fire power, excellent mana battery, and finisher if geared up.)

Exdeath's however is expensive for what it brings to the table.

ace >> exdeath post enhancements. pre it depends on boss weaknesses and Wild Card but after 'em it's not a contest.

for the list you gave...

Orlandeau - Tri-beam Laser is a 75% light Imperial.
Tilith - Ace is great as it lets her go nuts with MP.
Noctis - no need to Jump to restore MP anymore and the Light Imperial helps with any light build you have for him. you can also have two dodge whores with Ace if you use Wild Card.

the rest are useful mostly as MP battery guy and extra damage dealer. those 3 just stand out the most.
personally i'm using mine more often and need to think of how better to use him. if fire, light, or lightning damage are used for your team, he's a must to enhance. if you burn through MP like water, he's a must to enhance.

Man, Famfrit battle was stupid easy, I felt like I cheated.

I used Elza, Orlandeau, Rikku, Xon, and friend Tidus.
One turned Cid on Battle one.
Took 3 turns to take Cid down on Battle two, but Twist of Fate made it a joke. After Cid died, I double Lanced and Osmosed Famfrit for two turns and just chained him down after that. I didn't get the 10k Motes but I couldn't care less about trying to use Waterga or getting the Motes.

It was my first try doing the trial and didn't know what to expect, and I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as easy as it was. Tidus wasn't really as big of a damage dealer as my Orlandeau or Elza was, and I didn't have a real healer, so better safe than sorry too I guess.

Slowly making my way through the story thingy in the Vortex, mostly getting all the mission clears. I've got two-and-a-half more sections to go, and then I'll be done. I do know, however, that the last mission has a rather stringent requirement for the trust moogle, and as someone really needing TMRs, I need as many of those as I can get. So does anyone have any advice for how to get the esper kill, as well as how to survive the fight, seeing as it's relatively tough? I know Rikku's LB is great to have, so she's coming along, but outside of that I'm not sure. My best esper is a Lv. 24 2* Odin, and the only other 2* I have are Diabolos and Ifrit.

Also, since the Exvius Wiki doesn't really have any of the JP info on what's coming, how are you all planning out your enhancement cryst needs? I'm nowhere near the point of being able to farm for them consistently, as I know I should be putting stamina into TMRs and story missions, but it would be nice to start planning. I know Tidus' are really good to have, but out of my current crew that's about it as far as what I know.

Use Hyper NulAll, break its offense and keep the healing up while whittling it down before you chain the esper with your party.

Rule of thumb is gathering Power>Support >Tech, since they are used most, followed by the rest who are niched.

If anyone still needs levels this place is still great for what was it? 180k exp, but it takes close to an hour. Noctis friends are best for this due to his warp jump.

Her aoe won't be better when she gets enhanced, but she can work as a Mana battery, no-sells ST magic, and may ignore an fatal attack above 30% enhanced.

Sozhe can be used as a pseudo tank thanks to his passives, but you may want to capitalize on his fire abilities due to his imperil.

Ilias I covered in the past. He is a unit you use if you got nothing better at hand.

He can make your party immune to breaks or status effects for 3 turns, recover everything but stone or disease, fully recover hp for everyone or 75mp to everyone every other turn.

And some more stuff, but those are the big ones besides his super-charged item boost you can glitch as an aoe.

That banner could come as early as this week, I guess? It's probably either a Raid or an exploration event next. Next event in JP was FFXI, which was a raid, so it could be that. We're also probably due for another story update, I guess we might just get that and another week of this Lunera banner, with the robot trial to do with it?

Well the Nier event is a raid, but Adam is the only unit that is obtained from the raid summon. There is also an accompanying rare summon banner that has 2B, 9S and 21O.

We don't know where A2 and Eve will end up, but I suspect A2 will be on the rare banner and Eve will join Adam in the raid summon.

Double 5* would be pretty mean. I think we've only had that once on global, with Demon Rain/Dracu Lasswell, so I'm hoping Gumi will spare us.

Yeah, I have a Waver and Heracles FGO account and haven't pulled anything good since. Here I got Orlandeau and Fryevia within a week of each other and nothing all that impressive since except a Rikku I had to burn about 40 tickets for. If I remain unlucky long enough, I might score both 2B and A2 ;).

I've been terrible at rationing tickets, but I guess I can at least save the 10+1 and the few Rare tickets I have for Nier. Dunno that I really need anything since I hear most of the reasons to go for them is TMRs, and I've got plenty to work on as is, and my current team is almost all the best units in their slots for the meta as is. Blargh, ran into this with PAD too, where I had all the cool stuff (though not quite whale level), and after a while there wasn't anything fun left to pull for.
