Well what I need most the smallest enhancement stones actually, I guess since I have hardly ever been in the vault for them the only gems I got are the ones from events. Really though the smaller gems should drop as commonly from stages as the common awakening materials do.

For some reason Tidus gets 4 enhancements in JP when his came out: Get Pumped! (Lasts longer and stronger buffs), Tackle Slip (includes magic evasion and counter chance), Sun Crest (more damage for his Killers and +50% ATK w/Swords), and of course, Quick Hit (7.2x multiplier holy crap)

Tactics banner with some global exclusives.

Old Almas, Gaffgarion and Agrias are viable for the grind.

Gaffy and Agrias can be awakened, but their ability awakening is still a month away at least.

New announcements

In The Name Of Love King Mog Event is here! This is an FFT themed event, and certain old FFT units such as Alma, Agrias, and Gaffgarion give you bonus drops when you bring them into battle. The bonus units are the Chocobos, and the boss is none other than Ultima the Bloody Angel. She counts as a human, uses status effects, and also uses Magic. Choice exchange items include Defender (Great sword with chance of dodging) and Zwill Crossblade (Dagger with chance of inflicting sleep), as well as Global Exclusive abilities that give the wearer a chance to either counter regen when hit physically or another Ability that reduces damage taken when hit physically. Yeah... not sure where this has a place in end game teams, but we'll see after the datamine

The event also comes with a Summon Banner of course. Admittedly... a bit bloated. 2 5* in Mercenary Ramza (new Global exclusive abilities) and Knight Delita, 2 new 4* in Meliadoul (new Global exclusive abilities) and Orran (new global exclusive ability), as well as old 4* Agrias and Gaffgarion and our old 3* Alma. Those that don't have TGC, don't miss this (admittedly bad chance of) chance to get Agrias! And maybe the new abilities make the new 4* and 5* great? Who knows. All units except Alma can reach 6*

Oh and of course 6* is unlocked for Agrias and Gaffgarion after maintenance

This weekend is Cactuar Dunes

Finally, maintenance from Wednesday 26 July 23:00 to Thursday 27 July 05:00 PDT . Only 6 hours, not bad

man, Veritas of the Flame almost got me crying manly tears. Helped that the actual fight was pretty fun, almost killing my ass before setting up with Rikku.

* Similar difficulty level to Aigaion (9â…).

* Two states of sleep, apparently.

* Boss AI will change based on which state of sleep.

* Will need to prepare for many different types of status ailments.

* Physical & Magic damage recommended.

* If you do nothing for a turn (such as just guard) the boss will apparently do something nasty.

* In addition to Enhancer+, a Counter: Meteor ability will be given as a mission reward.

Yeah, that's the funny bit.

You get more rainbows than usual. However they are less likely to be banner-based rainbows. (It's kind of a monkey's paw. XD)

From my understanding of the rates, with the rate up you have a 1% chance of getting a banner rainbow, as opposed to the 0.5% chance now, so it's still all good. Plus there are still some off banner rainbows that I want (another Fryevia and Aileen in particular), so I don't mind the 66% chance of off banner. Plus I love the 5* TMRs, should be starting my last unfinished one today, good stuff!
