Third Ruggles in a row today. And I got another two perfect Tidus chains today. Did they make him easier to chain with somehow? Still difficult, as I've missed several other attempts, but it feels like I shouldn't be able to pull it off as much as I have as is.

Aw yiiis, finished up both story events today, including the 10% Moogle from the esper kill on the last boss. Not sure if I want to spend more time farming this up for crysts, since my collection is rather paltry compared to what I'll need down the line, or spend my time going through more of the story since I'm only just about to finish Zoldaad.

I'm also pulling off perfect chains with Tidus' Quick Hit again, and it's a little terrifying how high the damage numbers climb. Not at all sure how to work a finisher into that, considering the timing is so damn strict, and I usually have to tap multiple times in a row with the screen not accepting them because they're timed too close together, but I also don't think I need to. Worst case, I know that the initial string does get up to the twenties before the chain breaks, so I could always slip a finisher in there if needed. Though really, Tidus is so damn strong, and if I can get better at the chaining, I don't think I'll need it.

Kingdom of Pharm Part 1 story content will be available after maintenance... and is that Ayaka? No Espers though. Maybe a new Fat Chocobo or stuff in the silver Chests?

If Gilgamesh heralded the second wave of Trial Bosses in difficulty, so does Aigaion herald the arrival of the really really annoying Trials. Moogle says he's way more powerful than previous bosses and we should over prepare. Clearing the Trial gives us Aigaion's Arm, a Fist with +145 ATK and High Tide passive (faster LB refill). Apart from the Fist we also get 100 Lapis for clearing it.
Using a Limit Burst gives us a 5* 10% Moogle, Evoking Ramuh gets us the Martial Arts Mastery passive (+50% ATK w/ Fists equipped), and if we clear the battle without using magic once, we get the ability World Destroyer (AoE unmitigated damage and Full Break them). Good luck to us all

7 characters get new Ability Awakenings! The aforementioned Luneth, as well as Dark Knight Cecil, Refia, Rosa, Cecil, Sakura, and Exdeath. I think the only ones you want to awaken are Luneth and DKC though.

Finally, there's the featured Summon Awakened Warriors! Increased Summon rates for 3-6* Exdeath and Cecil, 4-5* Rosa, 4-6* Refia, and 5-6* Luneth and DKC. I... don't think you should use tickets here? Maybe you need an Exdeath or two or want more Excaliburs though. Or is really burning for a Healer

How do Firion/Luneth enhanced compare to Rem as far as finishers go? A few weeks ago everybody was going nuts over Rem being better than Olive, and now she's not being mentioned as one of the best anymore, so I'm confused.

I'm trying to figure it out, she went from OMGZ BEST FINISHER to not even being referenced. I know it takes her a few turns to really set up the pain, so that could be it. It could also be the Orlandudes type thing, when they tell a new player to reroll their account when they got Aileen, Tidus, or Fryevia because Orlandeau is the only unit anybody should ever want (in their eyes, even though he's the weakest of the bunch after enhancements hit, he's just easier to chain with.)

Is Rem's BiS her dagger/Fryevia's Needle, or is it Needle/Mateus' Malice or even Dracospike? If you can use a rod Rod Mastery that would get rid of some of the Letters and Arms (unless you're Aqua Blading for dual Tidus')

That just means that you have one less letters and arms build to worry about. If you can use Draco Spike instead that gives you a nice bonus via Rod Mastery

Much easier with Freyvja cause hybrid attacker- stick a coral sword on her and there's lightning sealed.
That and WoL helped with breaks.

I don't know about luneth but yes to enhanced Firion. Olive was too. Main thing about him is that he's pretty damn close and just a 3* so he's a lot more common.

nope, that's included. he'll hit harder on the first turn but by the third she's topping him. unsure where the 2nd would lie. with the recent change to consecutive abilities she can support without being hindered on it and you can't forget that dagger boomerang takes on both element and killers, so she won't be lagging behind him on any enemy with a certain weakness.

Olive is 2nd if you're able to consistently keep that LB going, otherwise she's still good but below a couple more.

enhanced Luneth is 1st now. what takes her 3 turns to ramp up to he can deliver immediately.

then i'm not sure who your finisher is but they'll hit pretty hard!
though there isn't much elemental synergy there. if you include that, i'm pretty sure Firion will come out ahead. Olive is effectively locked into Lightning and there ain't many good Lightning weapons. the best is a hammer that also gives +15% HP, which is pretty nice since it'll help his tanking. hammers are also a type in his +30% ATK boost so together he should manage to come out ahead. his ease of exploiting elemental weaknesses is a huge benefit that he's got over pretty much everyone else. Rem is limited pretty heavily to Ice (Freezing Needle), water (Aqua Blade), or light (Holy Rod) so if you can't get one of those sexy -75% or -50% imperial debuffs, she won't hit as hard. Luneth i assume also has an easier time than her.

this is part of why i'm loving enhanced Ace too by the way, getting that -75% Imperial on lightning and light (and Fire, which matters even now since Rain's bonus equipment quest gave a 90 ATK fire greatsword) means both of them are crazy good. i'm considering using a DW Firion in my team too, though i gotta enhance him first. keep running out of T1 and T2.
