And like I said in the last topic, sending that cop to prison solves nothing. The frustrating thing is the lack of accountability by the police office. Even just an acknowiedgement that it should not have happened and the officer was at fault and they are re-evaluating how they are trained.

To just hear that this is totally fine for any cop to do is terrifying.

wow this cop was the one person who still thinks reefer madness is a documentary.
from my understanding the not guilty verdict was because there was reasonable doubt on whether or not the guy was reaching? i've been busy with other things and haven't read up on this much. but if so the whole thing sounds like a case where reasonable doubt is at a level rarely applied, to the point where it's fair to think it's unreasonable.

and the closest thing to accountability would be body cams that don't conveniently turn themselves off.

I think it's unreasonable to suspect both that Castile is super high and that he has catlike reflexes to the point that he could end your life at any nanosecond and the only way out is to kill him first.

Nothing Trump has done/doing has been digested by the economy. The housing bubble was not just Bush's policies (honestly, he barely caused it, his fuck ups were massive massive war debt, which hasnt really haunted us yet, but will soon enough), but Clinton's (repealed Glass-Steagall), Reagans, and just the fact that the bullshitters offering loans to people they knew would get fucked when adjustable rates kicked in (if anyone ever offers you an "adjustable rate" at something, run. You dont need that product that badly). The housing crisis was a build up over 15 to 25 years.
