And it's a fair review, though I haven't had the same experience with glitches.
I wasn't laughing at the score itself, just the review.
The line about the LHC and the stuff about WASD was hilarious.
And yeah, no idea why he had so many issues with glitches. I also don't understand the problems with saving he was talking about-- I thought Half Life had quickload, but it's like he only realized quicksave existed? I don't even know.
Ulti was just trolling, don't take it too seriously. It's hard to think otherwise when he sprinkles a review with his opinion on the PC being in trouble as if that impacts the game whatsoever.
As a side note, having to use a keyboard to move instead of a second analog stick is absurd. WASD will never be as effective as dual analog, the end, and only hardcore PC elitists will say otherwise.

I feel exactly the same as you regarding PC gaming.

It is inarguably the most revolutionary and most significant FPS ever, and really saved the genre from stagnation along with starting the career for inarguably the most important PC dev around right now.

Problem here is an Analog stick is only marginally better than WASD, while a mouse for aiming is infinitely better than an analog stick for aiming.

I feel my experience with this game was hurt by playing it way after its time, and maybe a bit of me not caring much for single player mode in shooters in general, which is all this has. Nothing enjoyable for me here.

Wow you're terrible.
If you played it past its time, you really shouldn't be voting first off.
Second, single player wasn't all it had. The game had a MASSIVE MP community, especially when you considered mods.
