I think at this point literally everyone I know has gotten it. My roommates have gotten it twice. My ex, my sister, my mom, a handful of coworkers, but I still haven't gotten it.

I got it back in May. Was pretty bad for a week (sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, headache) than cleared up. I think it may have permanently jammed up my hearing (particularly balance) a little bit however.

No. At least that I am fully aware of.

Been tested multiple times, all negative, even when my wife was positive.

I was however super sick at the very beginning when cases started appearing in the United States. Sickest I have ever been anyway, had all the symptoms of COVID19 but I can't confirm that it was actually that, could have easily been a bad flu.

It's possible I had it in July 2020. I felt some of the symptoms for about three days, and since tests were not yet widespread, the earliest I could schedule one was two weeks after I completely felt fine again which obviously came back negative.

If I didn't have it then, I have not had it yet.

No COVID.

Do spend a lot of time in crowded places. So on some level I've been lucky. But also mask diligently in those situations.

Had a horrible flu (I suspect was COVID) back in February 2020, had the worst cough of my life for 6 days straight and horrible back pains, and was sore for about a month. July of that year, someone else in my house tested positive, but none of us who were sick earlier in the year got it.

Then January 2022, my brother and I actually tested positive, but we were almost asymptomatic (just a mild sore throat) and it was over in a couple days (hurray booster shot)

about a month ago I got sick with the same symptoms I had in January (a bit worse actually), but tested negative

so "at least once, probably twice"

no long COVID or anything

The vast majority of those early 2020 suspected covid cases were probably the bad flu strain that was going around at the time. The fraction of Americans that caught covid before March 2020 is very small.

Twice for sure (June 20 and NYE 21) as I had positive tests and then a third time where it's a maybe. Didn't take a test as I just felt a little drained and it wasn't anything like the first time which was awful. I didn't realize until later than it had been going around at the time

My wife had it pretty bad back in January of 21, and our son also tested positive at that time, but my daughter and I were in the clear and have remained so as far as we know (which has been our goal considering my congenital heart condition; getting a bad case would absolutely be extremely bad news for me).

finally got it in like may this year (at least i assume so - i didn't get tested that time). no one except me wears masks at my office, and we went to a happy hour afterward and many people tested positive there. felt pretty bad.

might have caught it before that but never felt symptomatic and to date have never tested positive
