History just shifted from cool documentaries to "Ancient Aliens" and a whole bunch of stuff about Hitler. |

Tesla will not only refuse to sell parts to anyone (both private and corporate customers), but if you perform your own repairs from parts you salvaged from another car (like a body panel or a suspension component, for example), and tesla finds out, they'll begin remotely taking away features from your car like access to their charging network, then hold your car ransom behind a 5 figure "recertification fee". Huh. It's just a very alien concept to me as someone who works in wholesale parts. If I didn't have shops calling in for shit, I'd be very bored unless we had a lot of service department activity. Guess I could organize and front face boxes that nobody would be able to browse anyway lol |
