Just today, I heard my coworkers complaining about the OSHA workplace vaccine mandate. One guy actually said "the people that got COVID here were already vaccinated, so what's the fucking point?"

I think that if someone dies of COVID and you can trace it back to an unvaxxed person, the state should charge them for reckless endangerment and involuntary manslaughter. Or Negligent homicide.

This is how you fix it. If y'all want to stop talkin about it and start bein about it, you have to have laws like this passed. Or at least stop us from having jobs and being able to go to the grocery store. That would make a lot of those on my side feel forced to come over to get vaxxed, it's a pretty good strategy if you can pull it off.

Our pharmacy proudly administered over 17,000 COVID vaccines this year. It feels good to help society.

I got the booster. I am now more resilient against COVID.

I agree. I was stopped at a stop sign today and I look over to the left and I see a car going ape shit feverously flashing his high beams at me because I didn't have my lights on. I peered inside his window and could see he was wearing a covid mask in the car lmao.

can still get long covid symptoms from omicron even with booster. it's best to avoid it if possible.

My real problem is the fucking people not responsible enough in this society that lead to us needing what sounds like frequent doses to come.

Got my booster yesterday. Feel like shit for the 3rd time this year. I hate taking it, but with how fucking stupid people are, I have no choice. Knock on wood I've never been tested positive. Gone to work and stores as needed, public restaurants. I don't get how fucking stupid someone has to be to catch covid.

Not vaccinating is the same thing. Your choice is openly violating someone else's freedom and personal safety. Unless you're going to argue that assault laws should be abolished and public health standards are a violation of our rights, then stop this inconsistent application of what "freedom" is. You never had the freedom you claim you do and never will. Society only works by us limiting individual freedoms when they cross with other individuals. True freedom would be a chaotic hellhole of death and destruction.

I didn't do it for myself or the people I love. I know I don't matter.

And I know everyone is not like that, which is why we need to take more drastic measures to get people vaccinated.

People are genuinely more afraid of the vaccine than covid. That's what I've been told by every unvaccinated person so far. The number of deaths from covid are meaningless to them. They don't understand it.

That said, my antivaxx dad got really quiet once he contracted covid. He didn't want to talk to anyone. Maybe towards the end he couldn't talk to anyone. I'm sure he was regretting his choice until the moment he died.

I absolutely got vaccinated for myself first and everyone else second. I have asthma and Covid attacks the lungs. No brainer there.

It absolutely is a public health crisis and it is unreasonable to conflate getting a vaccine with personal choice.

Read the whole Constitution. The actual and implied obligations may surprise you. George Washington pushed a vaccination mandate.

People cherry pick verses from the Bible too.

"promote the general welfare" has and will continue to give the government broad powers.

Unfortunately, their stupidity continues to impact others when it comes to covid. Hospitals are still overwhelmed thanks to unvaccinated covid patients, and this puts me at risk should I have a non covid medical emergency.

The problem is that if we accept the government mandating the vaccine, they won't stop there. Before you know it, they'll mandate things like getting an education, wearing seatbelts, or not smoking indoors in public establishments.
